Awein e hyper ho gaye ho...Itnay bachay nahi ye log. They know how to do business...If they invested that much in making the tree they will probably get double out of it somehow....and the tree is probably decked with jeweled ornaments which will be the real pricey items..and they can be sold off later...so dont bust ur b@lls over it! :p

The most expensive Christmas Tree is with a hotel in Abu Dhabi and it has been getting many a accolades for the same.
Total price of the tree is $11 million (7 million) and has been fixed at the Emirates Palace hotel. But this is not the only thing that the hotel has. Besides this, it also owns marina, heliport and a vending machine which dispenses real gold bars. The machine is 43ft (13m) and is totally decorated with gold, diamonds and sapphires.
For owning such expensive and exquisite items, the hotel has already reached the Guinness World Records.
The Christmas Tree is tall and the total worth of the same is $10.8 million. It has been decorated gold and has gifts which include jewellery like bracelets, necklaces and watches. These are studded with 181 kinds of diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires and all other kinds of precious stones.
About the idea it was said that the general manager of the hotel, Hans Olbertz came up with the idea and said that he wanted the hotel to have something different this season.
Official religion of UAE is Islam but many Christians and non-Christians also reside in the country.

Common person can't afford to enter in this hotel, they have 250 Emirates Dirham to have visit for this hotel, almost same burj alarab in Dubai, I only had one time opportunity to go to this hotel, when Musharaf came into Dubai and wanted to meet Abu Dhabi business personalities, my Boss offered me to see him in his behalf, but Musharaf was not acceptable to me personally at any cost so I excuse to my boss and he send other Pakistani high profile to that meeting.
This Hotel is luxury and spending money on it was unbelieveable, lots of things are happening in U.A.E and this hotel is accomodating a lot celebraties and High profiles.

The last I checked, the Emiraties were dependent on the WEST for their security.

my friend 250 dirham is not a big amount. its less than 100 dollar. I am sure you will find more expensive hotel in Dubai
