Not sure if Javaid Hashmi has got any hidden agenda. However despite belonging to South Punjab or Seraiki belt, he has at least shown concern for stranded Pakistanis (Biharis) that continue to languish in camps of Bangladesh for almost 50 years now. Why can't political parties of Pakistan shun their respective egos to rehabilitate those who sacrificed and suffered twice for sake of Pakistan?
To make it worse, even Mohajirs who are members of not just different factions of MQM; but PTI, PPP,JI and PML-N are showing no concern over the matter. They can atleast remain committed and united on issues that can affect fate of Mohajirs. It's crystal clear that there's a tacit agreement between provincial government of Sindh and Sindhi nationalists including those who advocate for Sindhudesh , against existence of Mohajir community and others who are seen as "intruders" on "5000 year old" Sindh Dharti Ma.
If Sindh can't bear this "burden" then arrangements must be made with local MPAs, MPAs and Senators of other provinces too. Someone needs to approach Asad Omer, Fawad Chaudhry, Malika Bokhari, Mohammed Ali Khan or Mirza Shahzad Akbar to sort out the matter for good.
