What a dilemma for the country !!
The esteemed Judges stated in no uncertain terms that the ECP did not execute the elections as prescribed and there were glaring flaws in the counting, record keeping and overall procedures were grossly disregarded.. but then went on to concluded that it did not constitute a systematic rigging nor render the mandate of the winning candidates questionable to the extent to warrant a re-election etc etc....
I would like to say that it is a sick joke being played on the people of Pakistan that the Supreme Court does not place due importance and respect for the vote of the common citizen and has given the elected persons a certification that their mandate is one hundred percent genuine which is the most damaging and alarming thing they could have ever done to prevent the system to be fixed so that it would in due process pave way for a true and authentic democracy ..... like many other things we are left with no option but to bear with the stench of this rotten system we call democracy where as in real terms it is nothing more than the rule of the corrupt elite under the guise of democracy !!!
Some thing has to give or else .....
In short I have absolutely no doubt that the JC report has been prepared to save themselves for the side effects of upholding the law of the land in its truest spirit rather than to save the country from the damage this flawed electioneering system causes by the likes of Nawaz and Zardari ... who select their pimps to head the ECP and conduct the elections in less than fair manner means ...
