مگر ماں بہن یا باقی فیملی میمبرز کو گالیاں دینے والی پوسٹ کوفورا ڈیلیٹ کرنا چاہیے۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

اور ساتھ میں میمبر کو بھی۔۔۔۔۔۔

There should be an undo option for 'likes/dislikes' just like they have for 'thanks'. Sometimes users click like/dislike by mistake and then there's no way to undo that, rightly pointed out by the thread starter. Like and Thank options have a great impact on the user. Replacing these options with agree/disagree is not something that I would go for. At the moment 'Rating this Thread' option is on the top right corner of the forum page (just above post 1) and I think it's not used very often, moving this option alongside like and thank options will make this feature more effective.

Anyway thanks for input that agree/disagree options would be useless.

I meant move the option 'Rate this Thread' next to likes and thanks option, so that it's used more often. What's wrong with that?

You said nothing wrong, moving rating option anywhere is not going to give any realistic status to any thread because it shows the result of most likely of the last rating. I hardly bother to rate any thread. What's the point if a thread I rate it for 2 stars and next person rate it for 5 stars it will display 5 stars. Now does it matter to rate?

I wasn't talking about that in post 17..:angry_smile:

In my opinion, likes/dislike buttons should not be replaced by agree/ disagree. The reason is that likes/dislikes are very powerful tools to express reader's expression whereas these have impact on the poster. If someone clicks agree or disagree for my post, it wouldn't bother me as it appears nothing important. However clicking like or dislike will send a strong feelings which have impact on my future posts.

Compare to top sites such as facebook, twiters and youtube etc likes/dislikes options are used. If we want our forum to keep on it's journey towards top then we have to bear with these options of like dislike because that's how top sites work.

If like/dislike options ever been replaced then it will have slow impact whereas it can result in low motivation for the members' activities. Having many likes generate encouragement for the posters in contrary to that increase number of having dislikes deter poster from posting such content.

Facebook doesn't have dislike button

because it spreads too much negativity. Really good move by them.

You have excellent idea here, I think boss of the forum should pick these ideas as long its are practical for them. Lets hope for the best.
