Justice Kazim Ali has presented report of Sialkot lynching of two brothers. Meanwhile, a special anti-terror court granted seven-day physical remand to police of all the 17 accused in Sailkot lynching case on Monday.
Special Public Prosecutor Rana Bakhtiar that none of the culprits would escape penalty. Police presented 17 accused in the court of Justice Chaudhry Nisar of Gujranwala Anti-Terror Court while Deputy Prosecutor Rana Bakhtiar represented the provincial government.

Latest news on Sialkot brothers’ killing case: The joint investigation team has informed the Supreme Court in its report that Bilal was shot dead by Mughees Butt, one of the victims of Sialkot lynching. The Chief Justice concluded the hearing by ordering an open trial of the case.
DIG Mushtaq Sukhera, while giving his statement during the hearing in the Supreme Court, said that Mughees had fired on Bilal and Zeeshan before the lynching incident. Sukhera also told the court that Mughees and Muneeb (Butt brothers) had stopped Bilal, meanwhile Zeeshan, accompanied by his friends, came for Bilal’s support. Upon seeing this, Mughees opened fire on them.
The DIG also told the court that the severely injured Bilal died soon after the firing while Zeeshan also met the same fate a month later. The Sialkot lynching incident was a reaction to this event, the police chief informed the apex court. The officer added that the challan would be submitted after the post-mortem report.
