additional important note:

we are here discussing only govt servants.private jobs is a completely different issue.
Both are considered grade 17 officer that's why their comparison is made.
Further we are discussing important professions that are backbone of any country like health,education and defense and govt. spending on each of these.

you forgot to mention that after doctors leave their jobs they still work as private practice , but army officer almost 99 % do not have any other skills to earn money for themself.

Average age of doctors retirement is around 65.
Most of army officers retire at the age of 45.
there is nothing as free messing, all officers have to pay for messing which is deducted every month from their salary. Only jawans get free food.
Whats the problem with seperate office ? well only if you are calling moorcha an office then its right ....otherwise almost up to the rank of major you have to share your office.
Free travelling at C130 is 1 person in hundred. and its mostly from islamabad to gilgit for those who are serving in northern areas. where normal flight is only once a week depending on weather.


lastly what is the point of this comparison ? to create hatered against army ? why not also compare doctors and MNA or MPAs , or SP , ASP , and other police officers . why not also compare jobs in judiciary with doctors.

why you do have to drag army in over and over again just to create hatered ????

then tables thrid column would be like..
Basic Elgibility = No marks required. Chor bazari (gold medalist), Firged degree required if enquired.
Free education.. yes in foreign countries
Paid education = education not required just Pay me.
Average age after education = Depends upon how early you learn KHabasat from your master Shaitaan.
discount on air travel. = You own a chartered plane
batman = Yeah but HOLLYWOOD BATMAN pay him what he wants.
free residence. = yeah wherever u want Pakistan or other world.
special messing facility. = Yeah MESSING with seasonal drinks and gareeb awaam's khoon and paseena

Jawans have free medical treatment for life, their children get same education benifits as that of an officer in any govt school.
Jawans are also working in all those companies and number of jawans working in these companies is more than that of officer.

lastly you have pointed out general benifits ???? no you have just shown your lack of knowledge thats why you do not want to discus it further. any way ...i ll reply your comments tomorrow now.

i wish i could include politicians. but they are getting far more less than what is mentioned in this list. they have illegal income sources i agree but we are here discussing facts. here we haven't discussed illegal sources of income of army generals as well
as far as selecting illiterate politicians are concerned , you people select go and vote for some educated one

One very important thing you forgot to mention is that how much money government spends on making a Doctor..... Their education is subsidized by government and they have to pay a nominal fee for their studies. Secondly, if there are no benefits for doctors, why everyone wants to become a doctor, mothers pray and wish that her child becomes a doctor. I am not taking Army's side, but it is a fact also that you have to mention here also that how much they return. If you go to any government hospital, you will see very well that how doctors treat their patients, on the other hand Army people are mostly risking their lives during their jobs and have to go through mostly tough conditions to get these benefits...... There are many more things but I wonder if you will be able to digest them.... not a fair comparison by any means.....

you havent given a single . you are talking here and there .come with facts .
if you can make some better comparison come out with it
public of this country have risked their lives the most . do you know that more than 35000 have died in suicide attacks and bomb blasts. its far more than our army casualities

i do not need to tear apart whole table i have give u 5 / 6 areas where you are wrong so go and learn that first.

and if possible go and get statistics of doctors working privately and those doctors who are educated by govt and then they shoot off to other countries , ratio of such cases.

Ratio of specialist doctors who get specialization from pakistan money but never come back.

we are not talking about private practices here. we are talking about what they get in govt. jobs .
privately our retire army generals are doing many things like vice chancellors of universities, ambassadors etc but i didn't mention them .
yup they are going abroad because they are getting very less here . they can hardly made both end meals

Your point are very valid but you must understand the motive behind such information. Whenever information is presented out of context it means there are sinister designs behind it.

jus to add some points to your list:

Army officers and jawans are on call 24/7

50% reduction in air fare is only for two air travel tickets within Pakistan in a year.

Average wait time for any officer or Jawan to get a residence in a new posting is 6 months.

Every three years officers and jawans are posted out to a new station and thus their family with them uprooting all friendships and schooling of their children.
Transfers make it very difficult for the children to get admissions in school in the middle of the school term thus the need for Army Public schools.

Army officers and jawans are constantly risking their life. They are called by the civil government to help in any calamity, and they can not say no.

Many areas that the Army officers and jawans serve at even in the peace time are called hard areas example being Siachin and that is a must for any officer who wants a carreer in the Army. Areas in Azad Kashmir, remote areas in Sindh and Baluchistan, Gilgit and punjab.

The docors serving in Army have to follow these people for they need medical cover all the time.

I am sure all the points will be considered but I am also sure that a lot of nonsensical stuff is about to fly!

well i m not talking about army only . this structure is valid for all 3 forces
doctors have tough duties as well.
i m not here to defend doctors . i m asking for justice for both
if 50% discount is given for 2 tickets only then this discount should be given to other govt. servants as well
police have postings so is in education department and many more

The nation who dont care about educated people, is hard to survive.

Doctors are the most edutated people of community,and they have very less honour and salary.

In US and Europe , a family doctor earns minimum 15-20 thousand $$ before taxes , a senator or minister earns that much.

where as, a militory colonel could earn half of it. General goes up to only.

Specialists earn in US almost 30-50 thousand $. Some goes to a million $ per month too.
