As of now yes. May be down the road when i research on it i will have a clear understanding behind this ritual.
By the way, lying, getting angry, swearing, cheating etc etc from dusk to dawn is not being practised by majority of the Muslims.
Do you know that the mullah will ask you to stop eating an hour or more before the dusk?

My own family members are praying five times a day so i can't be ponting at you.
