It is a good thing that ministers should be made answerable for their performance. Shahbaz Sharif indeed worked very hard and managed to to control dengue epidemic last year.
But the dengue cases that have come to the fore this year are not entirely due to the negligence of health minister. The real culprits are the bureaucrats who displayed their usual lethargy as soon as Shahbaz Sharif took his foot off their necks. While the health minister should have been more proactive but he had no control over Commissioners and DCs/ACs whose inefficiency promoted return of dengue.
The real weakness in governance in Punjab is that Shahbaz Sharif has given too much power to these CSP bureaucrats who are really good for nothing and are entrenched in their do nothing mentality because they have a guaranteed job for life.

Copy Paste CM.....PTI announced that 02 Provincial Ministers are being removed due to charges of Corruption over them. Every one was saying "It never happened before that the Party Chairman or CM or PM has removed his/her Minister due to Corruption charges. So Showbaz copied in a very unsocial way. He must put an inquiry committee which should probe the case and if Minister is found guilty then he/she must be sacked from cabinet like PTI did. But in front of Camera in single meeting you cant say like he said in this video. Showbaz was health minister in his previous term of Govt for 5 years. Dengue killed thousands of people in Punjab but Showbaz did't resign as Health Minister.
