پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے کارکنان نے انتظامی مسائل کے باعث پارٹی چیف عمران خان کا کنٹینر ڈی چوک منتقل کردیا۔
ان کا دعویٰ ہے کہ حکومت کے ساتھ مذاکرات پر خاطر خواہ پیشرفت کے باوجود ان کا دھرنے کے مقام کو منتقل کرنے کا فیصلہ سیاسی نہیں تھا۔
سیاسی تجزیہ کار زاہد حسین کے مطابق پی ٹی آئی اور پاکستان عوامی تحریک کا اپنے دھرنوں کو منتقل کرنے کے فیصلے کے پیچھے سپریم کورٹ کے احکامات تھے۔
تحریک انصاف کے دھرنوں کے منتظم علی اعوان نے ڈان کو بتایا کہ خان صاحب نے جمعے کے روز اعلان کیا تھا کہ دھرنے کو ڈی چوک انتظامی مسائل کے باعث منتقل کردیا جائے۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ انکے دھرنے کے زیادہ تر شرکاء شام میں آتے ہیں اور پھر دیر رات تک یہاں رہتے ہیں۔ ہمیں شکایات موصول ہورہی تھیں کہ دھرنا کیبیٹ ڈیویژن منتقل کرنے کے باعث چلنے کے لیے فاصلہ کافی بڑھ گیا ہے اور فیملیز کے لیے دھرنے میں شریک ہونا مشکل تھا کیوں کہ انہیں یہاں تک پہنچنے کے لیے عوامی تحریک کے ٹہرنے کے مقام سے ہوکر آنا پڑتا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ عوامی تحریک کے کارکنان نے بھی اپنی کیمپ کو پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس سے ڈی چوک منتقل کردیا تو ہم نے ان سے درخواست کی کہ وہ اپنے کیمپ وہاں سے ہٹالیں کیوں کہ ہم وہاں آنا چاہتے تھے۔ اس کے بعد پی اے ٹی کے کارکنان نے اپنا دھرنا فجر کی نماز کے بعد شاہراہ دستور پر منتقل کردیا اور ہم ڈی چوک دوپہر تک پہنچے۔
اب دونوں دھرنے اسی مقام پر موجود ہیں جہاں سے وہ 19 اگست کو شروع ہوئے تھے۔
اگست 15 کو پی اے ٹی اور پی ٹی آئی نے آبپارہ چوک اور کشمیر ہائی وے نے اپنے دھرنوں کا آغاز کیا تھا جبکہ 19 اگست کو ریڈ زون میں داخل ہوتے ہوئے وزیراعظم ہاؤس تک جانے کی کوشش کی گئی۔
پولیس کے ساتھ شدید جھڑپوں کے بعد مظاہرین نے 31 اگست کو اپنے کیمپ پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس میں لگالیے۔
یکم ستمبر کو وزیراعظم ہاؤس اور پاکستان سیکریٹریٹ کے گیٹ تک پہنچنے کے باوجود مظاہرین نے عمارت کے احاطے کو پانچ ستمبر کو خالی کردیا
تحریک انصاف کے پریس سیکرٹری طاہر جمیل کا کہنا تھا کہ کیبیٹ ڈویژن کے باہر ان کے دھرنے کے مقام پر بدبو آتی تھی اور وہاں کیچر کے باعث بیٹھنے کی بہت کم جگہ تھی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پریڈ ایوینیو پر کافی جگہ موجود ہے اور وہاں سیڑھیاں بھی ہیں جہاں مظاہرین بیٹھ سکتے ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ یہ جگہ پارکنگ ایریا سے بھی قریب ہے۔ کیبینیٹ ڈویژن کی طرف مظاہرین نے ایک پانی کی پائپ لائن کو بھی توڑ دیا جس کی وجہ سے بارشوں کے بعد بھی کیچر کا مسئلہ وہاں حل نہیں ہوگا۔
انہوں نے اعتراف کیا کہ مذاکرات میں پیشرفت ہوئی ہے تاہم دھرنے منتقل کرنے کے پیچھے ان کے سیاسی عزائم نہیں۔
پی اے ٹی کے میڈیا کوارڈینیٹر غلام علی نے کہا کہ جب عمران خان نے دھرنا ڈی چوک منتقل کرنے کا اعلان کیا تو ہم نے اپنے دھرنے کو پریڈ ایوینیو سے ہٹانے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
سیاسی تجزیہ کار زاہد حسین نے ڈان سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کے مطابق دونوں جماعتوں نے سپریم کورٹ کے احکامات کی وجہ سے اپنے دھرنے واپس پرانے مقام لانے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ دونوں پی ٹی آئی اور پی اے ٹی پر عدالت کے احکامات نہ ماننے پر شدید تنقید کی جارہی تھی جس کے باعث انہوں نے دھرنوں کے پیچھے کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نہیں سمجھتا کے ان دھرنوں کو پیچھے کرنے میں مذاکرات کا کردار ہوسکتا ہے۔
ISLAMABAD: Workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) shifted their party chief Imran Khans container to D-Chowk on Saturday, citing logistical issues at the site of their sit-in outside Cabinet Division.
PTI workers claim that though there had been substantial progress in the negotiations with the government, the move to shift the sit-in had no political reasons.
However, political analyst Zahid Hussain was of the view that the decision of the PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to shift their camps was the outcome of the Supreme Courts orders to vacate their previous sit-in venues.
PTI sit-in organiser Ali Awan told Dawn that Mr Khan had announced on Friday night that the sit-in would move back to D-Chowk due to spatial issues.

Since most of the participants come here in the evening and stay till late night, we were getting complaints that their walking distance had increased and it was difficult for the families to participate in the sit-in because they had to cross the accommodation area of the PAT supporters, he said.
As PAT supporters had also shifted their camps from Parliament House to D-Chowk, we requested them to move their camps as we wanted to shift there instead. The PAT workers, therefore, shifted from D-Chowk to Constitution Avenue just after Fajr prayers on Saturday and we reached D-Chowk around noon, he said.
After the successive moves, both the sit-ins are now stationed again at their original positions that they had occupied on the night of August 19.
Since the PAT and PTI sit-in started from Aabpara Chowk and Kashmir Highway, respectively, on August 15, the protesters first stormed the Red Zone on August 19 and then made a move towards the Prime Minister House on August 30.
After a heavy clash with the police, the protesters fixed their camps in the Parliament House lawns on August 31. Though they managed to reach the gates of Pakistan Secretariat and Prime Minister House on September 1, the protesters cleared the buildings premises and removed their camps on September 5.
Around noon on Saturday, Imran Khans container was shifted to Parade Avenue and necessary security arrangements were made there. A separate section, secured with barbed wires, has been made for women. Medias vehicles were also moved there, said Ali Awan, adding the area in front of Cabinet Division was not spacious enough and was muddy.
PTI press secretary Tahir Jameel said their venue outside Cabinet Division had a pungent smell and also lacked sufficient place to sit because of the mud.
There is a lot of space on Parade Avenue; and there are stairs for the participants to sit on. Moreover, vehicles parking area is close to Parade Avenue. At the Cabinet Division, the protesters had broken a water pipeline, so the issue of mud will not be resolved even after the rains, he said.
Mr Jameel admitted that there had been a progress in the negotiations but there was no political reason behind shifting the venue to Parade Avenue.
PAT media coordinator Ghulam Ali said after Imran Khans announcement to shift back to D-Chowk, it was decided to remove PAT camps from Parade Avenue. We will stay on Constitution Avenue until our demands are accepted by the government, he said.
Political analyst Zahid Hussain, however, told Dawn that he believed that both the parties had decided to move back because of the Supreme Courts orders.
Both PTI and PAT were facing severe criticism for not implementing the court orders, which was why they decided to move back to Constitution Avenue and Parade Avenue. I do not see any role of negotiations in the decision of moving back to D-Chowk, he said.
