Pak Navy to build nuclear submarine

Pakistan has decided to build nuclear submarine for Pakistan Navy to better meet its defense requirements.

The nuclear submarine would be build in the country.

It would take anywhere from 5 to 8 years to build the nuclear submarine after which Pakistan would join the list of countries that has a nuclear submarine.

Presently Pakistan has a fleet of five regular submarines.

Excellent progress and way forward for the soveriegnity and defence of Pakistan. We must make head ways for heightened security for minimum deterence & remove temptation in the path of those, who consider us weak and commit an act of aggression against us. Besides, these achievement, Pakistan must also repair our wither relations with those countries, which really are helpful in days of trouble/need on equal footing,i.e Russia, France, Argantina etc.

Alas! Despite of the presence of so sophisticated technology, Pakistan is under Drone and ground attacks (2nd May and Salaala are the latest examples) ........

To hell with such Nuclear capabilities if our Army can't safeguard our country from foreign attacks.

Before Nukes, Army was arguing that if we get Nukes, we would reduce conventional Army force but we spend the same on Army and still under the attack from such forces, who are dying and requesting the poor and armless Taliban for negotiations.



So it is not only the matter of Sophisticated equipments, it is the Brave and honest Leadership which matters.

Drones issue is a different thing... A lot of geography is involved but there is no question that nuclear submarine is what we should have had already by this time.. Things would have been much different!!

Moreover, these subs are faster and have long endurance compared to conventional subs, hence to some extent Stealthy. In the meantime, Chinese might lease out one of their Nuclear powered sub to us.

b4 contracts with french, pak was also trying to get from germans .. and germans were agree 2 ..but this 10% ban****** zardari and admirals of navi (thumbsdown) brought the french garbage scrap
but atleast our engineers got experience from that also ... could be thousand times better if they had worked with germens

Dear in future, there might some sub marine from America or some other country would hit our submarine or some other things and Navy would have the same cry that they have used the Stealth Technology, whether the matter of fact our "Brave" Navy would be on board with the enemy like in OBL episode. I still can't digest this lie that our Army or Airforce were not aware. They are just traitors and Cowards.

Bhai defense budget is not choking the economy, corruption of 1000 billion rupees is choking the economy, the amount we spend on the repayment of the loans which were doubled in last 4 years is choking the economy!
Even if all the defense budget is stopped who will ensure that the people of Pakistan will benefit from that money? whose pockets will be filled up? think about that also please.

I Agree, But we'r not in a state to develop these expensive toys yet.

HOWEVER, We arguing wont change anything since the army gets what it wants.

I am lost! Are you suggesting that we give up and let the corrupt rule the roost?
Allah says in Koran to the effect, Keep your horses and weapons ready, meaning be prepared for war, He does not say that keep your coffers full of money and grain.
Yes people are the responsibility of the government, but the country is the responsibility of all the people.
Army budget can be cut but from the non-produtive areas, like the big houses,perks to the red-tapers just like president and PM and all the elected members and government officials.
