Still 4 wives are not Sunnah its the limit. But marriage is Sunnah and you can do it with just 1 wife.

what about 5 wives? can a Muslim married 5 women at a time,if no? then why? no logical answer required just in context of sunnat or fardh.

ALLAH knows best.. we dont question HIM..HE made it 4 permissible so only 4 !!

this is just discussion about sunnat and farz,i asked above question to brother who says getting married to 4 women is not a sunnat , sunnat is to have one wife only,then i put up question why we cant married to 5 women at a time and obviosuly answer is Prophet Muhammad ﷺ only allowed to have 4 wives at a time and what what Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, did, or recommended for Muslims worldwide to do from his time until the end of time is sunnat.

کیا حماقت ھے، کچھ اچھوُتا کہنے کے چکر میں چول مار دی ھے، ڈپٹی کمشنر کے حضور پیشی غریب کو عمر بھر یاد رھتی ھے تو اللہ پاک کے سامنے پیشی عام سا معاملہ ھو گا ؟ انسانی محبوب سے ملاقات کا معاملہ ھو تو دل بے قابو ھو ھو جاتا ھے، بندہ بدحواس ھوا پھرتا ھے، الفاظ ساتھ چھوڑ دیتے ھیں اور بہت کچھ ان کہا رہ جاتا ھے تو کیا خالق سے ملاقات بس ایک یوں ھی سا واقعہ ھوتا ھے ؟ نمازِ حقیقی ادا ھو جانا ایسے ھی ھے جیسی کسی کی لاٹری لگ جاےؑ، جب اپنا آپ کھو جاےؑ اور ملاقات کے خاتمے پر کمرہ کسی انجانی خوشبو سے بھرا ھو، افسوس اس احمق نے ایک نایاب قلبی واردات کا ذکر مزاحیہ بنا دیا ۔۔

نمازِ حقیقی وہ شے ھے جس سے بندہ بھاگتا ھے کیوںکہ اس کے نتیجے میں بندہ تاب نھیں لا سکتا اور معدوم ھو جاتا ھے

This is a fact that #only Pukhtoon keep fasts .... I have personal experience.

I used to live with my Punjabi brothers. Most of them never fast , some fast a few while only 1 person, he was from Mandi Bahaudeen... fast full.

The most common excuse you hear from your Punjabi friends is " O khan bhai , sahri miss hogayee na " ... so what I have fasted many times without sahri .... what kind of excuse is this.

But when it is eid , they will change new clothes before you... even though they don't keep any fast but for Eid prayer they are always ready.

I think they don't know that Eid is for only those who keep fasts.

Same in uk. Merey sath 6 punjab key larkey aik house mein rahtey they...aur mein akela kpk ka...bara masaila hota tha keh aik 18:30 hours ka roza rakho uper sey yeh sab log ghar mein khuley aam kha rahey hotey they..aur phir jab waja pocho to kehtey hian keh tabiat theek nahin hai sehri miss ho gayee hai ya phir kehtey hian deeen mein jabbar nahin par yeh jabbar ki cheez to nahin hai faraaz hai...is month mujh sey do dafa sehri miss ho chuki hai par shukar hai roza miss nahin keya hai....pata nahin log roza kaisey miss kar jatey hain

whatever prophet Muhammad pbuh did is sunnah..from drinking water in three sips to how he walk..everything he did is sunnah..
and about marrying 4 wives..its what ALLAH says in quran..not prophets teaching..and ALLAH knows better why 4
