it is very simple, no one forced him to say that, it came with his conviction.
now the reverersal needs to come out with same kind of firmness and conviction.
he just needs to come out and say in simple plain words that he made a mistake in india
not an interview with luqman or danish or a kana journalist and in ambigious words,
plain simple apology.

What ever might be idea but some of his stand has proved itself correct after some time like Taliban and Danda Bardaar Shariat end up with aftermath of Swat agreement and taliban existence in Karachi also end up with the arrest of so many taliban Commanders and Mullah Barader also Ashua and Chelum blast....If he is using same kind of things then Only time will tell what is coming for this Govt. but I would say that Managing the relief work and resettlement of victims of flood would tell their future and it doesnt look good at the moment....

Thats not true, MQM was given birth by Zia to marganize PPP.
You use examples of others and completely forget the Faschism of your own party, drilling in the bones of opponents, bori band lashain and ethnic cleansing are your hall marks, so don't go on that route, you are the biggest culprits of these kind atrocities.

KARACHI: Almost every ruling and opposition parties have opposed the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s call to ‘patriotic generals to take action similar to martial law against corrupt politicians’, saying that a civilian set-up must be supported over a military rule.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain told his party workers on Sunday that army generals had imposed martial laws in the past and so they could take a similar action again to weed out corrupt politicians and the MQM would support such an act.

Every party expressed its concern over the MQM chief’s call.

Commenting on Mr Hussain’s speech, a senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, Taj Haider, said that “such statements are not welcome”. However, he hastily added that he would not say anything that might affect the working relationship of the PPP and the MQM, which are coalition partner at the centre and in Sindh. “We are following the policy of reconciliation and would continue to pursue it.”

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Saleem Zia said that his party had a great respect for the country’s armed forces and it was a firm believer that every organisation should play its due role as envisaged in the Constitution.

Just remove presidential or pariliamentary form of govt, let the country be rules like VENEZUELA & CHAVEZ likes leaders, who continue to rule their country after their period is over, they re-elect him.

Well , honestly speaking there is not an other way to eradicate this cancer of feudalism in Pakistan.

All such feudals , Jageerdaar , Waderey , Sajjada Nasheen always keep in power whether through PPP , PML-n or PML-q

they damn care about manifesto of parties or electoral policies , and after winning the election they change sides depending upon who is ruling in center.

Khursheed Shah , Qaim Ali Shah , Agha Siraj Durrani , Peer Mazhar-ul-Haq , Jakhrani , even zardari himself are one of biggest landlords in Sindh...

they have thousands acres of agricultural land and they almost behave like a small GOD (mazallah) in their areas.

We have seen the so called development in rural sindh in this flood .

PPP got several chances to change the life style of those poor sindhis but this is against their policy of "Wadera - Haari system"

PPP was in power when ZA bhutto was PM.
Twice when BB was PM n now since 3 years PPP is ruling the govt.

this time is enough is if they really wanted to start a change ...

Mustafa Kamal did it in 4 years ... ... he rebuild almost 80% of karachi in his tenure ....

But these cuprits of PPP always seek shelter in saying that we require more time .. how much more time....??

They cannot govern a single thing , whether u talk about law-n - order situation , economy , justice , check n balance etc

same case in Punjab provincial govt. ..... though they "seem" to be good but only in reaction , Incidents happen in Punjab n than later punjab govt wake up from their sleep....like what they did in sialkot incident ....

It is my humble question to PTI followers , can they ever think of winning a seat from such areas which are in immense pressure of feudals ??

No never , PTI is an urban party , even if they want to panetrate in rural areas , their way would be blocked by feudals ...

it has happened with MQM many times ....

there is no other way than militancy against such feudals , either to kill them or stop your political efforts in those areas....

MQM stopped their efforts , but we cannot live with such system...

world is moving ahead rapidly and we have to cope up with new challenges , Look at the life style of these flood victims , it looks like they are even worse than people living 4000 years before ....

they dun have shoes , they dun care about germs , flies , they dun know about sanitation system ....

In Karachi flood victims are asked to live Govt. Primary Schools , n those victims are so illetrate (bcz of feudalism) that they dun know about "concept" of washrooms

yes ...CONCEPT of washroom... they dun know there are is such thing like washroom....

almost all rest rooms of that partcular school were empty n clean and all the victims were using school playground for toilet purpose.

leave aside our discussion of democracy , article 6 , parliamentry system is better than military watever ....

what this so called system has given to Pakistani nation....

In my personal opinion... this democratic system in its current format is NOT PRACTICAL for Pakistani people ....

You cannot have revolution through electoral system untill n unless you are free to get access of information and free to vote...which is not there in such areas....

You cannot make a govt. by winning in cities like karachi , lahore , multan , rawalpindi ...

70% of Pakistani population lives in rural areas which are under strict control of such feudals ....

If we want to carry on with democracy , first we have to get rid of such feudals who are the biggest hurdle in true democracy....

Shaheen Sehbayi is right that Karachi is on the verge of a civil war , there is already a civil war going on in balochistan and KP ,

Bad governance is at its peak , so what are we waiting for .....???

Remember its not in Quran that you have to carry on with democracy .....
Also Constitution is sacred but when its misused , u have to do something.... u have to abrogate it to save millions of lives ......

You have to do something unusual if problem is not being solved through proper means ....

Pakistan Army always do operations in country ...against talibans , against Baloch rebels , than why not against such feudals ??

they are the biggest hurdle in a prosperous Pakistan...

Once for all , Pakistan army should start a clean up operation and do a target killing of such feudals who in order to save their empires , ruin the lives of millions.
