ہوا کے رُخ پہ ہم دیپ جلا رہے ہیں
ہوا کے رُخ پے ہم دیپ جلا رہے ہیں
دُشمنِ جان کو جان سے قریب لا رہے ہیں
جب سےہے ہم پے أن کی نظرِ التفات
ہمارے لئے سوغاتیں رقیب لا رہے ہیں
سرِشام گھر میں روشنی کے لئے
ہم جلاتے ہیں دل وہ دیپ جلا رہے ہیں
ہمار قاتل ہی ہے ہمارا مسیحا یارو
ہمارے لئے لوگ کیوں طبیب بُلا رہے ہیں
دیکھا آج أن کو غیر سے محوِ گفتگو ظفر
سوچا تھا کیا، کیا نصیب دکھلا رہے ہیں

یہ جہاں چیز ہے کیا، لوح و قلم تیرے ہیں

عمل سے زندگی بنتی ہے جنت بھی جہنم بھی
یہ خاکی اپنی فطرت میں نہ نوری ہے نہ ناری ہے

بے لوث محبت ہو ، بے باک صداقت ہو
سینوں میں اُجالا کر، دل صورتِ مینا دے

ہو میرا کام غریبوں کی حمایت کرنا
درد مندوں سے ضعیفوں سے محبت کرنا

ہزروں سال نرگس اپنی بے نوری پہ روتی ہے
بڑی مُشکل سے ہوتا ہے چمن میں دیدہ ور پیدا

سبق پڑھ صداقت کا، عدالت کا، سجاعت کا
لیا جائے گا تجھ سے کام دُنیا کی امامت کا

کوئی اندازہ کر سکتا ہے اُس کے زورِ بازو کا
نگاہِ مردِ مومن سے بدل جاتی ہیں تقدیریں

ہوس نے کر دیا ہے ٹُکڑے ٹُکڑے نوعِ انساں کو
اُخُوّت کا بیا ں ہو جا، محبت کی زباں ہو جا

یہ جہاں چیز ہے کیا، لوح و قلم تیرے ہیں

What a mindset many writings similar to this we see frequently. Life is struggle and struggle and the enjoyment of life is in struggle only important thing is this struggle, life spending should be according to principles of our religion. Excel in knowledge with the intention to benefit your nation, excel in wealth with the intention to help poor and destitute yes it should be through honest means, excel in politics with the intention to eliminate the plunderers and help the masses. From such statements I always get the feeling of the ideology of Buddhists Christian priests come on fight according to Islamic principles be winner in this life and also in the life after it

Fully agree, the joy and pleasure of life lies in struggle and improvement towards excellence in everything. Dynamism not sedentary approach is needed, within the bounds of religion. The west has understood this and they do'nt stop at anything. Fashion changes every three months, from Moon, to Mars and now Pluto, etc, etc. The west has adopted and practicing Islam and we are only talking about Islam for centuries.
