The source for the following is Talimul Islam by Mufti-e-Azam Hadhrat Maulana Kifayatullah (Rahmatullah Alayhi). Its about which recitations of the Holy Quran are Masnoon in the daily five obligatory prayers, the two Rakat Sunnah before Fajr prayers and the three Rakaat Wajib Witr after Isha prayers.

In the Fardh Rakaats of Fajr and Zuhr prayers you recite long Surahs,
that means from Surat Al-Hujrat (Juz 26) till Surat Al-Buruj (Juz 30).

In the Fardh Rakaats of Asr and Isha prayers you recite not so long Surahs,
that means from Surat At-Tariq (Juz 30) till Surat Al-Bayyinah (Juz 30).

In the Fardh Rakaats of Maghrib prayers you recite short Surahs,
that means from Surat Al-Zalzalah (Juz 30) till Surat An-Nas (Juz 30).

In the two Sunnah Rakaats of Fajr prayers you recite:
(1) Surat Al-Kafirun (Juz 30)
(2) Surat Al-Ikhlas (Juz 30)

In the three Wajib Rakaats of Witr prayers you recite:
(1) Surat Al-Ala (Juz 30)
(2) Surat Al-Kafirun (Juz 30)
(3) Surat Al-Ikhlas (Juz 30)

These recitation are considered to be among th eroutine of our beloved Prophet pbuh but that does not mean that these are the only surah which can be recited as the Quran says in Surah Muzammil :فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ*ۚ So, recite you of the Qur'n as much as may be easy for you.
