I feel really sad when people like Khwaja Sra Asif talk about ethics and morality.

He as privatization chairman coincided with the then government selling the family silver for a song to close friends and associates in the name of privatization. Khawaja has very very close links with Mian Mansha who got MCB in privatization. In fact, Khawaja's son "works" at MCB in senior position. Khawaja has only in 2010 declared 1 out of the 6 restaurants he owns in Abu Dhabi for long time. Khawaja has several homes and his main residence is in Lahore D.H.A, owned and built by Pakistan Army, which he has lately started attacking because it is fashionable.


In late 2009, Lahore High Court took suo motoo action against Khawaja because the E.D.O. of Sialkot had complained that he had been kidnapped and held hostage by Khawaja! This was bravely covered in The News and Jang and then forgotten. The E.D.O. told the court that he had brought this to attention of CM Shahbaz Sharifwho did not do anything.
Khawaja is a sharp businessman and has thekas and lucrative agencies for cement and LPG distribution from Mian Muhammad Mansha and others and other lucrative businesses under the names of his relatives and employees.
