Sorry but it is landlocked and both sides of Kashmir even united would suffer from so much interference, in the middle of 3 nuclear powers, reliant for its defence on whom, and what would be its main source of income. So to me not feasable, which means only one of two choices, No line of control, no false settlements. A Plebescite as promised by the UN and India and the people get to choose Pak or India, now I may be wrong, but in view of what India has practiced in Kashmir for decades........ I think Pak is onto a winner.

The water argument only holds water (pun intended) if you have endless capacity to store it, otherwise it will do what what water does. Right now Kashmir does not have the infrastructure to control the water, who will build it, and who will blackmail Kashmir more

One final thing, Kashmir politicians seem to be no better than their counterparts, I hope a new generation emerges, educated realisistic and not divided along tribal lines
