یہ کیا جواب ہوا؟

تو اگر پٹھان ہے تو اپنے گھر میں ہو گا، یہاں تو پہلے پولیس افسر ہے اور تجھ سے تیری فورس کے متعلق سوال کیا جا رہا ہے۔


اور سوال آپ لوگوں کے لیے بھی ہے کہ اگر خود اپنے دل پر ہاتھ رکھ کر بتلائیں کہ کوئی کراچی والا پولیس افسر یوں پنجاب میں آ کر آپ کا قتل عام کر رہا ہوتا اور اس سے پوچھا جاتا کہ اسے کیا مسئلہ ہے، اور وہ جواب میں فخر سے کہتا: میں مہاجر ہوں"۔۔۔۔۔ تو پھر آپ کو اس پر اعتراض ہوتا کہ نہ ہوتا؟​

These extra judicial killings were going on even before he took over. so its not something new.
I am not saying that its right but too much criticism is because of this fact as well. Killing in this fashion is certinaly wrong.

No it is a problem. Karachi police cheif should be Mohajir. Thats will bring peace in this city. Pathan police chief promotes TTP, kidnapping for ransom, illegal water hydrants, uncontrolled traffic mafia who does not let any other ethnic group to bring their transport and smuggling products from Afghanistan. These are all the professions Pathan are doing in Karachi. Its like a minority group is ruling and looting Karachi while police is supporting them. Unless police cheif is not made from majority commuinty these thugs will keep ruining the city. If they do not understand by talk then the other way of doing is what other province and communities do in Pakistan. They just kick out that guy from city or he dies , thats what they would do in Peshawar or Larkana or Quetta.

I think ethnicity should not be the criteria for selection.But its a city highly polarised on lines of ethnicity and if Muhajir/urdu speaking guy can soothe the relations among public/police and bring some law and order , sure. However If the police chief is from MQM then he will sure support them in unfair way which will not be professional.

Look, we have no problem with pathans. They are honest, hardworking and good people. I do not believe that Shahid will have problem with MQM because he is pathan. Many Urdu Speaking are originally pathans who are now known as Urdu speaking haveing lived in India for some generations. PPP government is using police for its objectives. Rarely I have found Pathans to be dishonest or prejudiced in the job. The problem may be with Afghans, four million of whom were given Pakistan nationality. But, generally pathans are good. There is no problem with pathans in Karachi. The biggest mistake pathans had made in Karachi was to have started politics in Karachi with establishment of Punjabi-Pakhtun Itehad Party. This was a real blunder.
