There's one truck-sized flaw in the feel-good-emo video above...

That is the US has writ of their state within their state. Everywhere else in the world, where foreign nations have gone in, is mostly because those nations can't establish writ in their own homelands.

So, if a day comes when Americans are unable to establish writ of the state within the US, and Chinese or Russians can by going in there, I would be all in favour of such actions by Chinese or Russians etc.

We do not live in an isolated little world of our imaginations where we can do anything and there're no repercussions and that no one should touch us. We live in the real world. So if the US wants Al-Qaeda, then you better hand them over to it or they will stomp into every single square inch of this planet to 'get' them at any cost.

Live with that, because it is the fact.

Its not about who supports who. No matter you support chinese or russians killing innocent people inside US(while only a handful of them are guilty) when they won't have writ. Its about the human nature. You go on killing people they will react against you. Reaction is in the nature of human beings. There are lot more better and effective ways to deal with such situations than to just go and start killing most of the population in which majority is not your enemy but will become your enemy when they or their family gets killed. So killing is not the solution. Whether Pakistan or the international community are serious about issues they should think of effective ways and shouldn't be indulged in using power. And you can see that now the world powers have realized that the war on terror isn't going to end with war but instead have widened. More American haters have been produced than it was before 9/11.

Also the above perspective is just the solution but do you know the intentions super powers? China will become super power if not stopped. Russia still has power... Iran is Isreal's and US biggest rival.. All of them lie around Afghanistan and Pakistan.. So this aspect of US playing its game can't also be ruled out. Afghanistan was perhaps thought to be an easier target but it turned out to be the worst choice for US.

Dude I appreciate your way of thinking but answer me a few questions:


1. When Japan behaved aggressively, US bombed it. When Japan behaved progressively, US helped it become the second biggest economy. It is not US who decides your fate, it is the behaviour of a nation that dictates how US (or other superpowers) will behave with it. So, when stronger nations are hitting us, it means we are at fault.

The same example is about US / German war at the time of Hitler and immediately after the Marshall Plan which also made Germany the second biggest economy. Pakistan just doesn't want to behave in a civil progressive manner. Do you not see that??


2. There is no other way to discipline unruly childish behavior other than strictness. Once someone behaves in a civil manner then you can deal with them in other ways but when the question is about lack of decent human behaviour (which Pak people are stuck in) - only ruthless strictness will work.

Try this for a real life example:

Buy 1,000 acres of prime agricultural land in Punjab which is used to grow Wheat. Then leave it unused. By your logic, since it is your land, then you have every right to do whatever you want with it.

However, if you do that, then you will see that the govt. or the people will take that land away from you by force to use it to grow food. No law in the world will protect you either.

Dude, the lesson here is that since you live in this world together you have to behave in a way which is mutually beneficial and not with a 'whatever I want' attitude. This applies to individuals and nations alike.


This brings me to the second point of fairness. Sure Suez Canal Crisis or CIA activities in Iran are facts but that has always been the case in the history of humanity that the powerful derive more benefit from the weak. The servants who work in your home and mine in Pakistan are also an example of that. The only way to save oneself from exploitation is to become developed and only then you will be treated as equals and not exploited. This is how life is - unfair to the weak by default.

The problem with Pakistan is that we have an agenda of doing exactly everything which doesn't make sense. We created Pak in the name of two-nation theory. No other developed nation has ever progressed from such a history. We are against population control due to religious instructions - no other developed countries do that. We never applied fair taxation or land reforms because our State and Establishment are far too busy begging superpowers for money to use it to buy weapons to protect this fragile land from day one. We have no electricity or a quality of life but everyone is proud of the nuclear bomb which is a product of 1947's hateful rift.

So, the problem is that us Pakistani people think that by doing all of these unique nonsense actions we will still be prosperous because we founded a country in the name of Islam and surely that is a guarantee of success no matter how اوٹ پٹانگ our actions are. This 'just-because' self-satisfying reasoning is why we get exploited and NOT BECAUSE SUPERPOWERS LUST AFTER OUR LAND.
