Salam Guys,

I'm really interested in getting into trading stocks.

I do have a full time job but I want to get going part time initially and move in full time eventually.

If anyone does that full time on here. Please guide this noob.

I have already opened up an online direct investment account. I'm thinking of starting with Tesla as I see this company going places.

I don't know if that metric is true or not, but I can speak from personal experience and the experiences of those I know- you will lose in your first year/quarter/month/whatever. A lot. It's those who learn from their mistakes and grow that break through that barrier and become profitable.
If you want to trade, expect to blow your account and lose thousands before you "make it."

Well , trading itself is not that difficult as long as you have holding power, buy value stocks and have some patience. If you are trading online with commodities, forex or Futures , make sure you have honest broker. Having a dishonest broker will leave you dismay and disappointed.

Well 30 pip spread charge is way too much for her charm.... I won't be even able to make any profit. How did you survive in 30 pip spread ? :(

I am not making deals like you Zaidi Bhai - every half an hour, I sit on it for weeks at time months if it goes against me

If I account in her charms, it should be lot higher :)
Actually English banks charge 50+ pips and that too for 50K+ deals
Under that they charge tourist rates which is about 2 full cents higher than Reuters rates
No wonder banks made 40+ Billion during 2015 in UK collectively despite all high salaries...

Once I held up the S&P one contract for almost 5 years .... It gave me tons of money at the end , however, also an ulcer on all those initial years. That was also on Cash ( USD 7000.00 Cash plus DD !!)
