To be clear I'm not to sacrifice, arts, philosophy, ethics, aesthetics, literature, morality, sense of history and continuity and other human discourses, which really makes our existence and world-experience meaningful, interesting and worth living, at the narrow doors of science and empiricism.
Not that I have some personal problem with that but one doesn't have a valid ground to do so.
I don't see (or demand) a mulla rising beyond his/her narrow discourse and convey his/her feeling different to what he/she really feels (except that when those sermons are materially harmful and then I'll be first to raise objections and shut him/her up.)
In the current situation, it is the duty of doctors, scientist and politicians to provide honest opinions and remedies and to take charge; and, in case some of them act dishonestly to their professions, I'll be furious. Let's focus on real practical and material issues than to jump over a group - jo nah leney mein nah denein mein.
Today I read a long piece of poetry which dealt with the current situation even more stranger and obnoxious way and full of shock and gloom, but then I know that's poetry which occupies a precious place in my heart - would you kill me for reading and enjoying that piece!!!
