Rights violations alarming: CJP
Chief Justice of Pakistan said on Thursday that he was concerned over violation human rights.
Police can serve the masses by eliminating crimes.
Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry expressed these ideas while addressing new recruits in police department.
The CJ said: “Administration of justice is not only the duty of courts, indeed all the stakeholders are required to play role in dispensing justice. The role of Police is the most apparent in criminal justice system because they are the first to be approached by the victim or the aggrieved person.”
He said that SC was guarantor of the constitution and all the lower courts are bound to its judgments.

KARACHI: The kith and kin of the young man shot down yesterday at point blank range by a Rangers personnel took his body to Rangers Headquarters after offering funeral prayer and protested the incident.
The funeral procession heading towards a graveyard after the funeral prayers stopped for a while outside the Rangers Headquarters and protested the killing.
The enraged participants of the funeral chanted slogans against Rangers and were later made to get back to the awaiting vehicles by the elderly men present in the procession. The funeral procession, then, headed towards Paposh Nagar graveyard.

With this logic, whoever you believe is killer then you go and kill him and that would be justice. Only problem with that kind of solution is that anyone can think he is right and has the right to kill others which will create more like a "jungle ka qanoon".
If educated people start to support this kind of extra judicial killings then what do you expect from illiterate in Pakistan?

It amazes me when educated people use XYZ as an excuse to justify any killing.
What "Black Water/CIA (MQM/MQM (H)/SSP/Sipah Muhammad/Sunni Tehreek/ANP/PPP)" has got to do with this kid. You may have relatives in Army/ Security Forces or be a supporter of them but at the end of the day you will be asked about it if you supported "Haq baat" even when it was against your own interests.
Even if he had done something wrong then he should be tried in courts and not be given decision about his life within minutes as Rangers/ Security Forces are not Gods who can be law makers, judiciary and executioners at the same time.

Yes, even having got educated from a well known O Level School of Karachi, having studied in co-education all my life, and having got a MSc Degree from a University in London, I still am partially in the favour of these extra judiciary killings, do you know why, q k jab ek qatil ka qatal hota hai to yeh qatal nahi INSAF hota hai, hamen insaf nahi milta, INSAF chahye, sasta ho mehnga, FORI INSAF chahye, meray pakistan ke bohat baray baray maslon ke jar yahi NAINSAFi hai. I'm pissed off and I want blood of the corrupt ON THE STREETS and THEIR BODIES HANGED ON EVERY CHOWKS AND ELECTRICITY POLES.

What if America believes you are a terrorist and they send a drone to kill you. Would you prefer if you get a chance to clear your name through a proper judicial system or prefer to die just because America thought you were a terrorist?

with similar qualifications and additional years of experience ;) I believe that agar system insaaf nahin deta to system ko theek kiya jaye naa ke jungle ka qanoon apna liya jaye. Even in Islam it is responsibility of the state to provide people with basic rights before enforcing the strict punishments. How could a government enforce a "hand chopping" on stealing if the state doesn't provide the basic food to each one. People are bound to steal.
