Bachelors of Islamic Studies : Authentic Scholar

Few days ago someone mentioned something to me and then something along the same line was brought up here by my favourite nagin dancer

The statement I am talking about was he said all these big well know Islamic institutes, madrassas and universities like Al Azar or Jamia Dar Ul Uloom don't teach the Quran, Quran is just a very tiny portion of their syllabus/curriculum. And since my favourite nagin dancer even after years of scholarship under "authentic scholars" seems to really know nothing about the Quran except a story or two from it and that too twisted in ways to justify his sect.

So when I looked into this claim, sad to say he was right. for example Dar Al Uloom requires 140 credit hours to obtain a degree on Bachelors in Islamic studies. And guess how much of 140 credit hours include studying and understanding the Quran. Only 16 credit hours. And all those 16 hours are not studying the Quran but rather tafsir from the likes of Tabari and Tafsir ul Jalalayn. You need an additional 90 hrs to get a Masters degree. And guess how many are given to the Quran. 12 and yes that too only tafsirs.

Al Azhar is no better. Its Islamic dept offers degrees and courses in Tafsir and Qur'anic Sciences, Tafsir, Ulum al-Qur'an, Asbab al-Nuzul, Study of the Six Canonical Books Ilm al-Rijal (Biographies of Hadith narrators) Usul al-Hadith, Analysis of Hadith chains and texts They have around 12 more of these but none of them to do with anything with the Quran.

And its pretty much the case with the others too. Quran is hardly the focus of study in Islamic Universities. How ironic and sad is it that Islamic universities and high places of Islamic education hardly teach the book which is the foundation of this deen.

No wonder why our so-called Islamic universities or Madrassas produce Bozos like observer-x
In my understanding, the Ulema or scholars of the Quran are those who think, reflect & ponder upon God's creations, or you can say, scientists. But our Mullahs think that by studying non-Quranic religious education, one becomes a Ulema or scholar of Islam.

For our so-called Muslims:

Let me clarify one thing: Islam is not a "religion" but a way of life, as God does not send his guidance to a specific community. The Quran is a universal message of peace and guidance for humanity, not the Ahdith, etc.
God has made humans with inbuilt qualities to distinguish between right and wrong, truth and falsehood, etc.
The Quran has mentioned several times to use your God-given intellect, sight, hearing, and logic to evaluate, reflect, ponder, and discover the universe and the earth.
Unfortunately, Muslims lag in the field of science and technology because they were deranged in the "Mazhab" of ignorant Mullahs.
God has not created everything in vain, but for a purpose for mankind to take the most out of it.
Several verses in the Quran encourage mankind to think, reflect, and ponder, as there are signs for them. I just posted a couple of them.

3:191 who remember God, standing and sitting and on their sides, and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: 'Our Lord, Thou hast not created this for vanity. Glory be to Thee! Guard us against the chastisement of the Fire.

(30:22) And of His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colors. Indeed, there are Signs in this for the wise.

He (God) subjected to you all that is in the heavens and the earth, all from Himself. There are many signs in this for those who reflect” (45:13).

Our "authentic scholar" was one of the reason I started to look into this. Found out all they teach is mostly nonsense. Their ijazas, their muftis, their sheikhs are just chock brim full of garbage

I had never seen the curriculum of Pakistani madrassas but on the contrary I found it quite interesting. Your post is misleading. For the first three years it is mostly about Arabic language it's composition and morphology and usul ul tafseer, which is so important that we aren't tricked by people like qadyanis and Parvez khan type people. I have a question for you someone has teach us quran and if we don't know those subjects how we will know that the person teaching us or explaining something isn't playing with words like qadyanis do with word " khaatam". Similarly, this other guy Parvez khani would take the idea of symbolism and " the other probable meanings" because they are present in Arabic qamoos. Thank you for letting us know that they have a great curriculum. I thought they teach them Iran and Turan.

Don't Hadith followers usually quote Hadith that seek knowledge, even if you have to go to China? What does it mean to learn the Quran and Hadith in China?

No such hadith exists, so it's a fabrication of a fabrication. lol Since it is a very recent fabrication so it got caught. Because people are under this weird notion the more older or ancient something is the more authentic it is. Thats why they are even afraid to even question these ancient beliefs and writings. While all the mess was created by these ancient scholars

Yeah it takes time to learn a language. And Usul al tafsir is as described in the course "involves extensive exposure to original classical Tafsir sources. The course focuses on the study of the major classical theories and themes in the interpretation of the Qur'an and discusses different genres and characteristics of Qur'anic exegesis" Again just teaching "tafsir" of their scholars which are as we all know based on fairytales.

Sorry he's not Khan, I forgot his name but this parvezi cult leader/scholar. Let's suppose if we learn quran from a qadyani he will do his own interpretation or a sufi or Tahir Al Qadri' or a Deobandi. They all will sugar coat their own 3qeedah, then we learn from whom? Which curriculum should we follow? Can you recommend?

Where does it say you have to learn the Quran from someone? The Quran is not a engineering course or life saving medicine course. There are literally 1000s if not millions of people who have accepted Islam from reading the Quran on their own. While desi bhaands says you will become misguided if you read the Quran on your own.

All I hear is denial denial denial.

Muslims perform salah you deny it.
Muslims learn deen you deny it.
Muslims do dawah you deny it.
Muslims worship Allah you deny it,
Muslims read Quran you deny it.

Your deviant religion should be called الإنكار الكلى meaning Total Denial of everything 🤣 .

You have nothing to offer other than denial of everything. You stand on nothing. لَسْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ (Quran 5:68)

But as usual, out of context, partial and not relevant to the subject at hand. Chalo its a start, a round of applause for bozo x👏👏👏👏👏
