Javed Miandad was a great player, no doubt, and a Great Chawal as in Insaan too.
His stats are definitely better than IK and he has achieved many things for Pakistan, no one can discredit him.
How do you the captain's skills in stats?

You can only judge a captain based on his success record. I did some research on our captains and based on stats Rashid Latif stands as the best captain of with 50 points while Mohammad Yousuf stands the worst with (-ve) 100 points.

Since Rashid Latif and Mohammad Yousuf have not served PakistanPakistan in too many matches therefore we should not conclude our results based on those who have not played even 10 match at captain.


If we set an standard of 20 or more matches then we find only 5 Captains (Abdul Qadir, Jawaid Miandad, Imran Khan, Waseem Akram & Inzimam) who played most matches as a captain of Pakistan cricket team. However, based on facts & figures Jawaid Miandad appears to be the best captain of Pakistan cricket team with 24 points while Wasim Akram stands 2nd best with 16 points.
