Re: Help me understand this Hadith mubarak

A lot of Ahadith were wrong, that’s why the compilation of Sahih Bukhari was compiled. Scholars still doubt whether all of Sahih Muslim or Bukhari are authentic.

I have doubts, and I can’t help it. My mind just asks these questions. I think I am not a strong Muslim like you all.

As for the fly , IMHO , I think it is a filthy insect and one should stay away from fly infected water.

The choice is yours. Faith and reason are different things.

Watchfulness

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
One day, I was riding behind
the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
when he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"O boy! I will instruct you in some matters.
Be watchful of Allah (Commandments of Allah),
He will preserve you.
Safeguard His Rights,
He will be ever with you.
If you beg, beg of Him Alone;
and if you need assistance,
supplicate to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, Alone for help.
And remember that if all the people gather to benefit you,
they will not be able to benefit you except that which
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, had foreordained (for you);
and if all of them gather to do harm to you,
they will not be able to afflict you with anything
other than that which Allah had pre-destined against you.
The pens had been lifted and the ink had dried up".
[At-Tirmidhi].
ka1a4m.jpg

Another narration is:
Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Safeguard the Commandments of Allah,Subhanahu wa ta'ala,
you will find Him before you.
Remember Him in prosperity
and He will remember you in adversity.
Be sure that which you miss, was not to hit you;
and what hits you, was never to miss you.
Remember that the Help of Allah is obtained with patience,
and relief emerges after distress,
prosperity follows adversity,
and hardship is followed by ease".
ka1a4m.jpg

Commentary:
1. No one has the power to change the Decision of Allah.
2. Whatever trouble one has to suffer in this world,
it does not last for ever.
Every trouble is followed by prosperity, pleasure and happiness.
3. One should never ask other than Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala,
anyone's help in supernatural way because it amounts to ascribing
partnership with Allah. If a person is mindful of
the Rights of Allah, Subhanahu wa ta'ala, then Allah, in
return takes care of his needs and helps him.

the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said,

Commentary:
The way to Hell is littered with these evils. When a person crosses them,
it is an indication that he has entered into Hell. On the other side exists
a series of griefs and calamities, Islamic injunctions and obligations
(the compliance with which is often irksome for man) impede his way to
Jannah. When a person endures them with patience he, in fact, overcomes
those obstacles and becomes eligible for Jannah.

Hakim bin Hizam (RadhiAllaho anho) reported that:
Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
"Both parties in a business transaction have a right
to annul it so long as they have not separated;
and if they tell the truth and make everything clear to each other
(i.e., the seller and the buyer speak the truth, the seller with
regard to what is purchased, and the buyer with regard to the money)
they will be blessed in their transaction,
but if they conceal anything and lie,
the blessing on their transaction will be eliminated.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
2zipimb.jpg

Commentary:
Here, the two persons engaged in business are seller and buyer.
The word 'right' here means that so far both of them are present at the spot
where business is being transacted they have a right to cancel their bargain.
In other words, even after the mutual acceptance of the terms of the bargain
so long as they are present at the spot they are entitled to cancel the deal
until the time they separate from each other. Generally, people do not think
it permissible to cancel the bargain after it has been settled even though
both parties are present there, but this is not correct.
Their view is contradicted by the Hadith.
Truthfulness is a means of blessings in the business while falsehood and
hiding of any defect of the merchandise detract from its blessings.

Therefore treat not the orphan with harshness; Nor repulse the petitioner (Unheard); But the Bounty of thy Lord rehearse and proclaim! (Surah Ad-Dhuha: 9-11 )

They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. (7) And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin[] (the poor), the orphan, and the captive, (8) (Saying): We feed you seeking Allhs Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. (9) Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislike to it). (10) So Allh saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadhrah (a light of beauty) and joy. (11) And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient. (12) Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). (13) [Surah Al-Insan : 7-13]

Our religion is easy to follow

167955_493247154670_718474670_6044907_1427688_n.jpg

Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallaho anho):

Allah's Messenger Nabi Kareem pbuh said,

"Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself

in his religion will not be able to continue in that way.

So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to

perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be
rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the

mornings, the nights."

Eat & Spend from Good

[Sahih Muslim: Book 5 Kitab Al-Zakat , Number 2214]

Abu Huraira
(Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying: O people, Allah is Good and He therefore, accepts only that which is good. And Allah commanded the believers as He commanded the Messengers by saying:" O Messengers, eat of the good things, and do good deeds; verily I am aware of what you do" (xxiii. 51). And He said: ' O those who believe, eat of the good things that We gave you" (ii. 172) He then made a mention of a person who travels widely, his hair disheveled and covered with dust. He lifts his hand towards the sky (and thus makes the supplication):" O Lord,0 Lord," whereas his diet is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, and his clothes are unlawful and his nourishment is unlawful. How can then his supplication be accepted?

[Sahih Muslim: Book 5 Kitab Al-Zakat , Number 2211]

Abu Huraira
(Radi Allah Anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) as saying: If anyone gives as Sadaqa the equivalent of a date from that (earning) earned honestly, for Allah accepts that which is lawful, the Lord would accept it with His Right Hand, and even if it is a date, it would foster in the Hand of the lord, as one of you fosters his colt, till it becomes bigger than a mountain.

[2. Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 267]
surah2_ayah267.gif

O you who believe! spend (benevolently) of the good things that you earn and or what We have brought forth for you out of the earth, and do not aim at what is bad that you may spend (in alms) of it, while you would not take it yourselves unless you have its price lowered, and know that Allah is Self-sufficient, Praiseworthy.

Weeping out of Fear from Allah (swt)

1277922202.gif

127449.jpg

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra ( radi Allahu anhu ) reported:
the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"Seven people Allah Ta'aala will give them His Shade on the Day
when there would be no shade but the Shade of His Throne
(i.e., on the Day of Resurrection): And they are:
a just ruler;
a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah Azza wa Jall ;
a person whose heart is attached to the mosques,
two men who love and meet each other and depart from each other
for the sake of Allah Azza wa Jall ;
a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation),
but he (rejects this offer and) says:
`I fear Allah Azza wa Jall ';
a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent)
that the left hand does not know what the right has given;
and a man who remembers Allah Azza wa Jall
in solitude and his eyes become tearful".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Commentary:
This Hadith has been included in this chapter for the reason that it highlights
the merits of weeping for fear of Allah Azza wa Jall .
The fear of Allah Azza wa Jall keeps one away from disobedience of Allah,
the reward of which in the Hereafter is Jannah -
a world which abounds in the Bounties and Pleasure of Allah.

Virtues of Simple Life

`Abdullah bin `Umar (Radiyallahu Anhuma) reported:
Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
took hold of my shoulders and said,
"Be in the world like a stranger or a wayfarer".

Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) used to say:
"When you survive till the evening,
do not expect to live until the morning;
and when you survive until the morning,
do not expect to live until the evening;
(do good deeds) when you are in good health before you fall sick,
and (do good deeds) as long as you are alive before death strikes".
[Al-Bukhari].

Commentary:
A person who will consider this world as a temporary stage, will certainly not
like that his clothes be entangled in thorny bushes of this world. The greatest
fault of man is that he does not understand this status of the world. In spite of
the fact that he is not sure of a moment's life here, he occupies himself in
amassing goods and riches which would last for a hundred years.

the best remedy to overcome the rage

2550440y3jrty0kgn.gif
bloodbar_e0.gif
Sulaiman bin Surad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was sitting with the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) when two men began to quarrel and curse each other and the face of one of them turned red and the veins of his neck were swollen (from rage). Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "I know of a word, if he were to utter that, his rage would vanish and that is: A`udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed).'' So they (Companions) said to him: "The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tells you to utter: 'I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed". [Al-Bukhariand Muslim].
bloodbar_e0.gif
Commentary: In the event of rage if a person becomes conscious that what he is feeling is a suggestion from Satan, he should prevent himself from it; this consciousness is the best remedy to overcome the rage. Those who are easily infuriated could make use of this prescription.

My wealth, my wealth

1277922202.gif

Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir (RadhiAllaho anho) reported:
I came to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
while he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was reciting
(Surat At-Takathur 102):
"The mutual rivalry (for hoarding worldly things) preoccupy you.
Until you visit the graves (i.e., till you die).
Nay! You shall come to know!
Again nay! You shall come to know!
Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of hoarding,
you would not have been occupied in worldly things).
Verily, you shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)!
And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!
Then (on that Day) you shall be asked about the delights
(you indulged in, in this world)!'' (102:1-8)
(After reciting) he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Son of adam says: `My wealth, my wealth.'
Do you own of your wealth other than what you eat and consume,
and what you wear and wear out,
or what you give in Sadaqah (charity) (to those who deserve it),
and that what you will have in stock for yourself.''
[Muslim].
hs2i4w.jpg

Commentary:
This Hadith enjoins that if a person is given wealth, he should spend it in
the ways liked by Allah because it is this Sadaqah which will be a valuable
treasure in the Afterlife. Whatever else he consumes in this world, will
finish or rot in this world and will be of no avail in Hereafter.
