simple answer my brother vey easy and simple , bcoz most of us in the world we r muslim by name , thats it

you have your answers from three posters. Let me just add this.
Allah says in Qur'an: wa' tasemu bi hublillahi wa la tafarraqu. (aur allah ki rassi ko {that is Qur'an ko} mazbooti sey pakrey raho)
We have forgotten Qur'an and Sunnah. We have become 'money first'. When there is distance between Hukkam and Qur'an, disaster follows. I bet you, non of the hukkams, except for General Zia, knows or knew how to read Surah-e-fatiha even. Yes attending Eid salat doesnt make you a Muslim, you have to have full believe, practice, and do 5 times a day prayers. Specially the hukkams as they have more responsibilities and more accountability.
Also, one of the pesh goi(prediction or prophecy) that relates to our master Muhammad (pbuh) is that, as the time draws close to the qyamah, hukkams will be greedy and Muslims will be Muslims only by name.
Whats happening today, WILL happen, its in the prophecy and you can not prevent it. But yeh kafireen gadhey dont understand that its bad for them too.
By the year 2025, US power will be reduced to a dying rat that can only die and do nothing. Thats the reason US is instigating a war with Iran, has started a war with Afgh and Pak even though its not a declared war. American must do this to divert American masses' attention to avoid revolution in the US, which is unthinkable so far.
My own prediction is that the US will start a full-fledge war with Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen (already dropping bomb), Indonesia and all other Muslim countries by 2015. It has already begun.
What goes up must come down. Soviet Union crumbled in 70 years, and from 1953(when CIA installed shah of Iran), in 70 years it will be about 2023.... so you see it is all happeneing to prove Muhammad (pbuh) prophecy. Allah has to make it happen.
Another major prophecy is that there will be haryali (greenery) in Mecca. I just saw a big rain flood during this hajj, Not long before Mecca becomes natural green
So brother/sister... do not despair. its time now that we attain highest level of taqwa by practising Qur'an and Sunna as possible. for, this is what actually will save use from hell

@gazoomartian: If a 6 feet pathan guy called you honey, be affraid coz its not something you should be proud of... If you are not Pakistani and don't know Pathans then ask some other Pakistani friends and i hope they will explain it to you....
A guy in my area used to call him khalifa... he used to shout in public "im your khalifa"... and you know what???? the local authorities one day came and took him to a mental hospital.... :lol:
