ISPR Statement: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has leveled highly irresponsible and baseless allegations against a serving senior military officer without any evidence. These fabricated and malicious allegations are extremely unfortunate, deplorable, and unacceptable. This has been a consistent pattern for the last one year wherein military and intelligence agencies officials are targeted with insinuations and sensational propaganda for the furtherance of political objectives. We ask the political leader concerned to make recourse to legal avenues and stop making false allegations. آئی ایس پی آر نے اپنے اعلامیہ میں کہا ہے کہ چیئرمین تحریک انصاف نے بغیر کسی ثبوت کے ایک حاضر سروس سینئر فوجی افسر پر انتہائی غیر ذمہ دارانہ اور بے بنیاد الزامات عائد کیے ہیں۔ من گھڑت اور بدنیتی پر مبنی الزامات انتہائی افسوسناک، قابل مذمت اور ناقابل قبول ہیں۔

آئی ایس پی آر کا کہنا ہے کہ گزشتہ ایک سال سے فوجی اور انٹیلی جنس اداروں کے اہلکاروں کو سیاسی مقاصد کے حصول کے لیے اشتعال انگیزی اور سنسنی خیز پروپیگنڈے کے ذریعے نشانہ بنایا جارہا ہے، ہم متعلقہ سیاسی رہنما سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ وہ قانونی راستے کا سہارا لیں اور جھوٹے الزامات لگانا بند کریں۔

آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق ادارہ صریحاً جھوٹے اور غلط بیانات اور پروپیگنڈے کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی کرنے کا حق محفوظ رکھتا ہے۔
