Re: Nobody has the knowledge of unseen (غیب) except Allah
Have you ever thought....Why Allah did not give power to Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) to have knowledge of unseen (علم الغیب) but still there are Muslims who believe that Peer, Walis, Durwaish has the knowledge of unseen (علم الغیب) despite the Qur'aanic verse:
قُل لَّا يَعْلَمُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الْغَيْبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
Yusuf Ali 65:
Say: None in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment). [Al-Naml 27:65]
کہہ دے الله کے سوا آسمانوں اور زمین میں کوئی بھی غیب کی بات نہیں جانتا اور انہیں اس کی بھی خبر نہیں کہ کب اٹھائے جائیں گے
The correct believe is only Allah informs his Messengers, whenever he wants to, via Wahee (وحی) about Ghaib. Hence Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) would not know about Ghaib (غیب) unless Allah informs him (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم).
Following Hadeeth narrates once Bibi Aisha (Razi Allah Talah Unhun) was wrongly accused and Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) were very worried and had no way of knowing the truth until Allah revealed the Verses (concerning the matter):
Narrated Masruq: I asked Um Ruman, 'Aisha's mother about the accusation forged against 'Aisha. She said, "While I was sitting with 'Aisha, an Ansari woman came to us and said, 'Let Allah condemn such-and-such person.' I asked her, 'Why do you say so?' She replied, 'For he has spread the (slanderous) story.' 'Aisha said, 'What story?' The woman then told her the story. 'Aisha asked, 'Have Abu Bakr and Allah's Apostle heard about it ?' She said, 'Yes.' 'Aisha fell down senseless (on hearing that), and when she came to her senses, she got fever and shaking of the body. The Prophet came and asked, 'What is wrong with her?' I said, 'She has got fever because of a story which has been rumored.' 'Aisha got up and said, 'By Allah! Even if I took an oath, you would not believe me, and if I put forward an excuse, You would not excuse me. My example and your example is just like that example of Jacob and his sons. Against that which you assert, it is Allah (Alone) Whose Help can be sought.' (12.18) The Prophet left and then Allah revealed the Verses (concerning the matter), and on that 'Aisha said, 'Thanks to Allah (only) and not to anybody else." (Sahih Bukhari, Book
#55, Hadith
#602)
The correct believe is that the Silsila of Wahee (وحی) has been discontinued since the death of Prophet Muhhamd (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم). Hence anybody who claims that he has revelation from Allah about Ghaib (غیب) is Kazzaab (کذاب).
There are very serious implication of holding wrong belief is that many hopefuls, Durwaish, Peer, Wali, have launched their religious careers (fan following) by making claim that they have the knowledge of unseen (غیب). Almost all our Sufi ‘saints’ have established their credibility, and their thrones, by doing this. They first claim to have seen the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) in their dreams, then they say they are in direct contact with him, then they claim they have been divinely inspired, and then they build their economic empires which they leave to their successors.
yes its correct that knowledge of unseen is with allah alone
but prophet sallalahu alihe wasallum said that a pious persons dreams are one fortieth part of prophetic knowledge given to prophets,
so its truth too that wahtever little part of knowledge allah wills he gives to some pious people so they can warn this ummah!!!!
in case of naimat shah wali his most prophecies came true so probably his remaining prophecies will also come true inshalah
naimat shah wali was very pious man and his grade we may not know only allah knows.
but let me give one example .before last years floods some pious people saw dreams of flood!similar thing happened before 2005 earthquake in pakistan!!!!both time these few people warned of the azaab before it happned so that people may repent to allah and return to islam.but people did not do that
so i witnessed these things with my own eyes, these true dreams and visions are allahs blessings on this ummah whereby he probably warns this ummah to mend their ways before an azaab strikes.
so absolute and final knowledge of unseen only and only allah subhanahu has
but
allah gives some pious people some parts of his knowledge so this ummah can be warned!
i am not talking about those pseudo charasis who claim to be visionaries.those people who are really pious usually stay away from mainstream!
anyway
let me give one example
a doctor tells by ultra sound that pregnant womans uterus has male or female child!would you consider this that astaghfirulah this doctor now is equal to allah in grade?no !!!!its because allah gave a little bit of knowledge to this human , what little he willed.
so a doctor knows that a pregnant lady has a male or female child in her but this same doctor will never know how long this child will live or how his or her life would be!!!this only allah knows
allahs knowledge is supreme and absolute.but humanitys knowledge is whatever part allah wills to be given to these humans.
so naimat shah walis many prophecies coming true are due to
1....allah gives little part of his knowledge to some pious people
2...
naimat shah wali took many of his prophecies from ahaadeeth of our beloved prophet muhammad sallalahu alihe wasallum!and these hadeeth are always accurate as our prophet said the things which allah revealed onto him
!
simple!!!1
and naimat shah walis last prophecy that mujahideen from afghan and tribal area will attack in a swarm on kufar and munafiqs is already coming true inshalah.its in last stages of fulfillment!inshalah
now some ahaadeeth and discussions about above topic of pious muslims dreams being one fortieth part of the prophethood
............
Yahya related from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha al-Ansari from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The good dream of a man who is salih is a forty-sixth part of prophecy." Yahya related the like of that to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Maliks Muwatta Book 52, Number 52.1.1
True dreams are a part of Prophethood, as it was reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “True dreams are one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood.” (al-Bukhaari, 6472; Muslim, 4201)
Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "The first revelation that was granted to the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) was the true dream in a state of sleep,’ so that he never dreamed a dream but the truth of it shone forth like the dawn of the morning...."
The Meaning of Dream Being a Part of Nubuwwah: An Explanation
In this kind, which is true and correct and which has been declared to be a part of prophethood in authentic prophetic Traditions, the narrations of Hadith differ. In some, it has been identified as the fortieth part, while in some others, the forty-sixth. There are other narrations as well in which its being the forty-ninth, fiftieth and seventieth part has been reported. All these narrations have been compiled together in Tafsir al-Qurtubi where, following the investigative judgement of Ibn 'Abd al-Barr, it has been established that there is no contradiction among them, in fact, each narration is correct in its place. As for the numerical variation in determining the parts, it depends upon the different attending conditions of those seeing the dream. Whoever is armed with the quality of truth, trust, honesty and is perfect of faith shall be the one whose dream will be the fortieth part of Nubuwwah. And whoever ranks somewhat lesser in these qualities, his will be the forty-sixth or fiftieth part of it, and whoever is still lesser, his dream will be the seventieth part of Nubuwwah.
