Sadly when I left pakistan for a job in dubai in 2006. The Financial Control of our client told me that Pakistanis are not allowed to keep highest positions in dubai banks.

According to him pakistanis used to be the favourites for such roles due to their amazing abilities in finance and banking but they made frauds using their positions and hence have been blacklisted.

So people like khwaja asif not only made haram money for their kids but also deprived many pakistanis of great futures.
