Well the fake news that was floated on 22 April of US personnel leaving Shamsi airbase has proven false, a US newspaper Miami Herald broke that story, which was later withdrawn, drones have intensified attacks in Waziristan murdering as many as 20 people in 2 days in numerous strikes:

Despite the tensions, however, the Pakistani military still is allowing the CIA to fly its remotely piloted Predator drones out of Shamsi Air Base, about 200 miles southwest of the Baluchistan capital of Quetta, U.S. officials said.

Asked about a Pakistani newspaper report that the Pakistani army had halted the CIA's use of Shamsi, a U.S. counterterrorism official replied, "That would certainly be news to us."

"The Pakistanis should spend less time complaining to the press (about the drone strikes) and more time trying to root out terrorists within their country," said the U.S. counterterrorism official, who requested anonymity because the drone operations are classified.

According to the Chief of Air Staff, details about Shamsi drone base:

Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Sulaiman also acknowledged that his institution’s radar system failed to detect the flight of American helicopters which, he said, had stealth technology. He said the helicopter flew as low as 50 feet from the ground and chose hilly pathway to avoid radar detection.
To a question Rao said the Shamsi airfield in Balochistan has been leased to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but did not confirm that the US has been using the base for drone attacks in tribal areas.
