Punjab is going thru hell rite now, and the city that has suffered the most is Faisalabad. Once regarded as the Manchester of Pakistan, where it was principally easy to invest, is now becoming a hell-hole that is being denied all the basic necessities to run an industrial town and the once labor is turning to crime to earn livelihood. As a result they are moving the units to other places and closing it down. After electricity and gas issues, now petroleum crisis is devastating the region. There is no petroleum on the pumps and hoarding and profiteering by some pumps [said to belong to PML-N and PPP people making a killing] is bleeding everyone.
Could I ask is this the administration level of Khadim-e-aala, there were never any such shortages or problems before 2008, when this qatil jamhuriyat came back. PARCO and other companies have pipelines running from Karachi to all cities of Punjab, as oil tankers are'nt the only source plus reserves, and how is the NATO supply line given the bomb blasts at depots and other problems still being able to deliver tons of fuel to the people sitting their to kill us using our highways, but Punjab which is just under 500 km reach, is'nt able to get any. Well my experience was awful recently, another company closed down its operation in Faisalabad amounting to "infrastructure" problems city is facing after the industrial sector, job losses are now being taken away from the services sector as well. Petrol problem is growing and is now taken Azad Kashmir in its fold:

Lahore/MuzaffarabadDirectives of President and Prime Minister to ensure smooth supply of petrol have failed to materialize as the shortage of the commodity has further deepened the crisis paralyzing traffic in entire Punjab while now Azad Kashmir is also without fuel.
Most of the filling stations in the Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Jhang, Sargodha, Sahiwal and other cities remained shut on Monday due to non availability of petrol. The filling stations which had limited petrol also avoided to sell it openly as people stormed those filling stations to get fuel for them. Long queues were witnessed at few filling stations providing petrol.
Massive disorder was observed and dozens of people reportedly clashed in attempt to move ahead of the queue instead of waiting for their turn. On the other hand, petrol agencies taking the advantage of situation were selling it in black market. Sources said that in some parts of the province petrol was being sold at Rs. 130 to 170 per liter.
The two day closure of CNG in Lahore region has further added to the difficulties of the people. In Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and other districts there was acute shortage of petrol.
The crisis has not only hurt the official and commercial activities but people residing in far flung areas are stranded as transporters excusing the shortage have wrapped their services.
Patients were suffering the most due to absence of transport as they have to travel miles of distance to reach the hospitals located in main town and cities.INP
