We Have Right to Disagree With Decency: Syed Zaid Hamid on Tahir Ul Qadri+Congrasi Mullah Ashrafi+MQ

I totally agree with Zaid Hamid. Tahir ul Qadri wants to reform the current setup by getting old horses out of the system and giving average Pakistanis a chance, then why make an alliance with status quo parties like MQM, his reform movement would obviously be undermined by this partnership.

Specially this Tahir Ashrafi is a highly detestable personality and it would be better for Tahir ul Qadri to stay away from him.

You are distracted and not paying attention to the elephant (establishment) in this horse's race.
TUQ, ZH, MQM, Sh. Rasheed, and Ahmed Raza kasuri are al establishment horses. At the end of the day, it is the establishment that harmed our country the most. Please let the next elections be on time. There is no other good alternative. They always show us pie in the sky. Please learn from your history.

Tahir ul Qadri has harmed his movement alot by his recurrent calls to MQM.
He should distance himself ASAP before he causes himself permanent harm.

We need to set our preferences , which r called " Neet " in our religion....

First is Islam
and the second is Pakistan...

We r with these .. any one who destroy Islam or Pakistan , is not good to favour....

No sect or any other thing should not harm Islam or Pakistan.....

No personality , even it is Molana Modudui or Tahir Ul Qadri , should go against Pakistan.

We have to be clear minded about these things.

and not let the people play with these two things....

I dont agree with this assessment. True everyone had made mistakes BUT the loyalty of our establishment is the main reason why Pakistan is where it is today. Dont for a second doubt the wisdom and courage of our Jawans who protect the honour of this Nation.

You see whats going on in neighbouring afghanistan and other countries ...then the only thing stopping that from happening to a majority of the Pakistanis is the Pakistan Armed Forces !

Dont side with the enemy and divorce your forces because of propoganda. Even if you dont agree with some of things they have done. In times of today when we dont have genuine leaders, when we are not strong and divided we need our Army to protect our rank and file. We can work out our differences later BUT todays Pakistan needs every soul possible.

I have nothing against you my friend. Your love is for Pakistan and so is mine. This is my opinion, if you have your i respect it but lets hope the best for Pakistan !!:)

I am proud of our jawans. It is the leadership that I disagree with. Upper echelon in the army that has become a mafia. It is there intrusion in civilian matters that is the cause for this country's demise. They work in close coordination with foreign spy agencies. What do you think who was behind Raymond Davis's release, There are numerous other examples where put their personal interests ahead of country's interests.

Good to know...:) Although, upper echelons in any institution of Pakistan are worse than a Mafia BUT Pakistan Army is still wayy bettter than if you compare them to their civilian comrades ! and even if you look internationally.

Pakistan has gone through and is going through an evolution. We are involved in a power game between several bigger powers and we are carefully treading our path till we can stand and look EVERYONE in the eye at our own will. Right now Alhomdillah in the region we are quiet powerfull. But not so much at the Global Stage. Once we reach that clout both politically and militarily then you will see the true colors :)

So although it seems like at times that personal interests were upheld over the countries ...in the larger context it may work out to be the best !

Pakistan Zindabad ..Pakistan Armd Forces Paindabad !

Democracy is a messy business, but in the long term it is one of the best systems. Look at India. It has a lot of corruption and they also have political mafia. However, they doing much better than us due to continuation of democracy. It is usually quite weak at its inceptions like a plant and therefore higher risk for corruption and exploitation. However, the good thing is that you can throw out the rascals on a regular basis. Yes initially it may be difficult to do due to rigging and manipulation. However, due to multi-faceted nature of it - somewhat decent people take a hold (like PTI is trying to do now).

The problem with pakistan is that we never give this democracy enough time and never given a chance for peaceful transition from civilian to civilian government. It is because of this military establishment that we are in this position. They got the taste of power. Militaries are there for the country. We have country for the military.

We should get out this mindset that we are "very powerful". If not for the nuclear weapons, we don't have any standings in the world. Today's world is knowledge based and depends on human capital. Our military is taking away the lion share, while the we spend peanuts for our education. In order to become powerful, we have to build institutions, and improve our educational system. However, army have other plans for us.

We can pray, but it will never work out in the larger context for us if we cont. on the same path. It is time that military should restrict itself to the bar barracks and let civilian run the government.

Zaid Hamid's Hypocrisy.

Zaid Hamid's philosophy is a philosophy of hate, indifference, and a desire to destroy 'the other'. There is nothing religious or revolutionary about it. It's all about playing with emotions of people.

Dude, quiet honestly ...i dont agree with your assessment.

Democracy is the worst form of government where only crooks and thugs come into power.

You talk about India ??...It has all sorts of criminals in power there too...They are not even an IOTA different than our politicians ! These are not my words ...these are the words in the Indian Media themselves !..

Here read : http://articles.timesofindia.indiat..._arvind-kejriwal-privilege-notices-parliament

The Team Anna member alleged that all the parties are responsible for bringing Parliament to disrepute as 162 MPs with criminal background have managed to get into it.

If india was so great why would they be having ANNA hazare movements and gang rapes everywhere where New Delhi is dubbed as Rape capital !...Is this who you look up to ? :)

I fail to understand the sadistic argument of "India is better" ...The question is how ??...In bringing there daughters and mothers to dance semi-naked ?? ...or doing a few fashion shows? ....Or opening up a few call-centers which are moving to other countries anyway ??

NO rascals are thrown out anywhere ...they recycle and come back again and again ...Has the gandhi family quit politics ??...which new face have you seen ??...Are you living in a mirage ?? ..Dude wake up and smell the coffee.

Alhamdolillah our Military and Nation is VERY POWERFULL and we are proud of this !..BUt having said that we dont take that to heart and we strive to do the best we can.

Military establishments are powerfull in every country that matters ??..You think the US establishment has nothing to do with their politics ?? (bigsmile) ....This happens in every country.

Rest off we have to stay on guard because we live in a tough neighbourhood. Education, healthcare etc etc ....Japan has everything ..but they dont have an armed force to protect themselves thats why their daughters get raped every now and then.

ALways keep in Mind ...The Prophet pbuh didnt have food to eat but he always had his dagger and sword ready to defend his HONOUR !...Honour and Iman is everything !

Us rizq say moat achi ...jiz rizq say aati ho pervaaz mein kotahi !

Slowly but surely education and everything will come to par as well...BUT that will not happen through thee defense budget BUT by getting rid of corruption, bhatakhorree and other kind of "khurafaat" which has plagued our nation (bigsmile)

Here we go again. I was talking about india only in terms of their economy and level of literacy. It is one of the fastest growing countries (one BRIC nations). Give me names of top 20 countries in terms of GDP, literacy rate, and quality of life. Then tell me how many of those countries do not have democracy (please don't try quibble over the definition of democracy).

You cannot compare US with pakistan. They spend only 20% of their budget on military (of course their absolute spending is much higher). Compared that to ours. Their military is under total civilian control (it is a complete rubbish that CIA is calling the shots). Look at what happened to David Petraus. Can you think our general would have resigned under similar circumstances. We are brain washing our nation that our military is powerful and great. While from inside we are nothing. If our military is that powerful then how come they are unable to stop drone attacks (I know you will rightfully blame civilian government but they were started under military leadership).

Please stop living in a well and look around. We are left way behind in the league of nations. Our per capita income and literacy rate is close to some of the sub-saharan countries. If we keep toggling btw civilian and military leaderships, then noting can save us. Of course you can go ahead and keep dreaming.

Dude, you have to back your assertions up with some proof to prove a point. I can take your simple statements as YOUR OPINION but not as fact!.

YOu have seen how the Indian Parliament is made up of criminals ...Now lets talk about education in India ..

The overall literacy rate maybe higher BUT that doesnt tell the real story in how many "Educated IDIOTS" India produces !..Lets take a deeper dive and see how Pakistan fares in these current circumstances where according to you we are in a Dismal state, lets take a look at this HARVARD UNIVERSITY study ..not my words and what they say about comparative education levels in Pakistan and India ..

Pakistanis spend more time in schools and colleges and graduate at a higher rate than their Indian counterparts in 15+ age group, according to a report on educational achievement by Harvard University researchers Robert Barro and Jong-Wha Lee.

Here is a summary of Barro-Lee's 2010 data in percentage of 15+ age group students who have enrolled in and-or completed primary, secondary and tertiary education:

Education Level.......India........Pakistan

Primary (Total)........20.9..........21.8

Primary (Completed)....18.9..........19.3

Secondary(Total).......40.7..........34.6

Secondary(Completed)...0.9...........22.5

College(Total).........5.8...........5.5

College(Completed).....3.1...........3.9

You see IM not writing simply out of "Pure Love", but also have third party proofs to back my assertions !

I might be dreaming BUT I think these Harvard University researchers are also on some high dose of Prozac (bigsmile)

Now ...the Indian Economy !...Yes in size it is increasing the pocket linings of a few rich and middle class people ...and that is impressive BUT that comes on the back of a regular economic cycle in regular conditions ...Lets us not forget that for the Past 10 years pakistan has been fighting the war on terror and even then ....with a lower GDP achievement we have CUT hunger levels and achieved more jobs growth than ALL of south asia combined !(bigsmile)

Again these are not my nightmares ...but day dreams of the World Bank Researchers [hilar][hilar]

The latest World Bank data shows that India's poverty rate of 27.5%, based on India's current poverty line of $1.03 per person per day, is more than 10 percentage points higher than Pakistan's 17.2%. Assam (urban), Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are the only three Indian states with similar or lower poverty rates than Pakistan's.

According to the latest world hunger index rankings, Pakistan ranks 57 while India and Bangladesh are worse at 65 and 68 among 79 countries ranked by International Food Policy Research Institute in 2012.

Likewise my last dream was also choked up by the "World Bank " researchers ....Beats the heck out of the sleeping world ...Pakistan despite the war on terror and all other hurdles has produced the "Most Number of JObs in South Asia (bigsmile)" ....Here check this out.
Pakistan's employment growth has been the highest in South Asia region since 2000, followed by Nepal, Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka in that order, according to a recent World Bank report titled "More and Better Jobs in South Asia".

Total employment in South Asia (excluding Afghanistan and Bhutan) rose from 473 million in 2000 to 568 million in 2010, creating an average of just under 800,000 new jobs a month. In all countries except Maldives and Sri Lanka, the largest share of the employed are the low‐end self-employed

So you see my friend after every night comes day ...and so far I have had a very good night with some objective dreams and wishes and I must say that you must also now "Wake up" an smell the coffee ...a new day has arrived and its beautiful outside !;)

Either you are showing off or delusional. Initially, I was impressed by your knowledge and religiosity. However, this gloating and smiley's did you in. Please do not try to "bash" another country to feel superior. Comparison should be fair and done to improve oneself. I hope you are right and we have the privilege to see the light of day. Hope we bounce back and progress like we did in late 60's. However, the direction we are going will not take us their. Here are some links for you to ponder.
