In media ,this propaganda that votes for PTI would result in the government of PPP is being deliberately circulated to cut the size of PTI support. In fact ,the analysts are doing their work based on previous records and ground realities. The previous records and ground realities have been shattered in past. During Bhutto election of 70 , it was written in Newspapers by paid and independent analysts that his candidates can not even win a union council election, let alone the national assembly election. What happened is another story.

People like Saleem Farrukh are not taking into account the purging of bogus votes from voter list. Moreover , many educated Pakistanis who never got out to vote are all ready to vote this time.

Naseer ahmad bhaba from Melsi , ex -MNa was PPP man for last 25 years. He joined PTI around 2 month ago because his sons pressurized him to join a clean party. Many voter of PPP are also suffering from all that is happening around (unemployment,inflation, no rule of law etc.).
So it is not only the PML-N which will lose. The next vote would be against Government parties whether they are at center or in provinces. Yes Zardari would do his best to manipulate the elections but Chaudries along with Musharraf did their best in 2008 election but failed.

WHEN BOTH PARTIES fail to deliver then people do not care about ideology, then they care who is going to save them from poverty, corruption and provide the basic human needs.

I think PPP and PML(N) share much in common. They are not dissimilar. Both get involve in rampant corruption, bow before foreign pressure, grossly mismanage the economy and try to consolidate their power in every institution, political or apolitical. PTI is poles apart from both the parties as it does not seek support from foreign hand. Its always seen busy in mobilizing public support for itself.
I predict this election to be very different from the past ones. It will take everyone by surprise. The widespread reach and influence of electronic media has created awareness in people far and wide. To believe that voting in coming elections will follow the past trends is a naivety.

Although Dr. Farrukh Saleem has a very good repute in serious circle, but i am not convinced on his theory that only PLM N voters will divert from PTI. My Qs is Kia PPP ky youngsters CNG, loadshedding, hyper Inflation, electricity and gas rates ,high petroleaum or curruption ky mary huy nhi hn? Aaj ki PPP BiBi wali PPP nhi hy, 2008 ky elections mn PPP ka voter dhoka kha gya tha usko undaza he nhi tha Zardari ki shakal mn kia museebat country pay nazil hony wali hy. Aaj ki PPP Rehman Malik, Babr Awan , Farzana Raja or Faisal Abidi , Shirmeela and Usman Farooqui, Zulfiqar Mirza ki PPP hy, jis mn Raza Rabbani , Naheed Khan , Eitzaz Ahsan jaise logon ki jagah nhi hy. Definately PPP will face sad back in votes.

As other fellow mentioned that huge amount of bogus votes has been removed and new votes are going to register, new generation is fed up of such situation and wants to see Pakistan a respectable country. They will not follow the previous trend of voting.

Now lets talk about Biradri and urbun turnout. Biradris decide on last moment kay woh kis ky saath jaingy. As people are watching that Ik is successfully mobilizing people and even in Ramazan he arranged some good gatherings in Islamabad. He is continusly arranging julsas in various parts of country, and people are thinking him as a Last Hope. When election days will come political candidates will see the trend and they will definately join PTI.


Im sure Inshallah PTI will be in a position to setup its government in next elections. In worst case scanario if PPP or PML N win then this will be the symbol that Allah is still angry and he want to continue his Azab on Pakistani nation for another few years.

OK lets have a serious debate.

There is no doubt that Rightist vote will be split and benefit will go to PPP and from there can be two scenarios:

1) Rightists are still in a position to form the Govt, NS with less mendate will not be able to dictate and IK will force them for an accountability mechanism that will seal NS fate in longer term

2) Leftist for the Govt but with IK even with half of NS current mendate, this Govt will not survive a few months because this time Dharna and Long March will not wait for a stupid excuse of Saving the Sytem.

But there is another option for NS - form the Govt with PPP and NS will have no hesitation to opt it if it saves his skin.

Dr Saleem analysis is good but half truth.... NS has three walls built around him, IK is going to built the fouth one...

Dec 12 and 13 2009
A joint declaration by Civil Society and Anti terrorist political parties and groups was issued as "Peshawar declaration" after deliberations in a two-day conference held in Peshawar on Dec 12 and 13 2009.
1 All organizations attached with Amn Tehrik, AIRRA and political parties, i.e., ANP, PPP, PPP(S), PMAP, National Party, Awami Party Pakistan, PDC, and FRM participated in the conference.

2- It was unanimously agreed that the main and real factor behind the present chaos and instability in the region is the Strategic Depth policy of Pakistan. This is the root cause reason of terrorism in the region. Therefore, this forum strongly demands of the abolition of this policy and accountability of all architects of this policy because the policy has caused far more financial damage to Pakistan than NRO and debts waive-off put together. This policy is also responsible for killing and maiming millions of the innocent people in Pukhtunkwa and other parts of Pakistan.

3. This conference also demands in the strongest possible words that Pakistan must have to stop her policy of interference in Afghanistan and accept Afghanistan as a sovereign independent state in the region. The conference believes that this is in the interests of millions of people of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
4. There are several political parties and groups in Pakistan which do not oppose terrorism unequivocally but are directly or indirectly involved to support terrorists in Pakistan and the region. This conference declares such pro-terrorist parties are the enemies of the Pashtun nation and humanity at large.
5. The conference demands that targeted and immediate operation against all centers and networks of terrorism should be initiated and the blunders of the past should not be repeated.

6. This conference also demands the elimination of all foreign, non-local and local terrorists in FATA (Federally Administrative Tribal Area). Damages should be compensated. A comprehensive developmental package should be commenced according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of FATA.
7. All the international Aid, and grants obtained on the name of terrorism should be spent in province of Pukhtunkhwa, FATA and other affected areas.
8 Pukhtunkhwa Province should be declared as war affected and all types of taxes and utility bills be waived-off.
9-It was decided in the conference to promote people to people contacts of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

10- The conference demands a Jirga people of AF-PAK

11- This Conference fully supports the present democratic and elected government and elected President of Pakistan to fulfill their constitutional obligations including their tenure. This conference also strongly condemns the ongoing propaganda by the media and by the so called political parties and out-fits which are active to destabilize the government.
12- It was also unanimously decided by the participants of the conference to collectively evolve a mechanism to oppose terrorism which is to be announced within a few days. A committee was announced comprising Hashim Babar (ANP), Faqir Hussain PPP(S), Syed Ayub Shah (PPP), Arbab Mujeeb (PMAP), Mukhtar Bacha ( National Party), Shahab Khattak (APP) Dr. Said Alam Mehsud (PAM) M.Idrees Kamal (Amn Tehrik), Maryam BB (KK), and Professor Khadim Hussain (AIRRA).
