These are the remains of the railways now forgotten by the world but not by us. ....................................................................................................
This is a rarest photo of the railway station being inaugurated by the Turks in 1917 in Medina
These are the remains of the railways now forgotten by the world but not by us...............these were the trains which were ambushed in the desert by the British and their allied tribes. This is so painfull to see them here and speaks volumes of betrayls and treachery which destroyed Khilafat. Once the Khilafat was destroyed and Mustapha Kamal abolished the Caliph, Iqbal spoke on this tragic events as “The Turks destroyed the Khilafat because of the sinister planning of the enemies and stupidity of the allies” . In these pics, we see how enemies destroyed the Muslim supply lines by destroying the train lines.
These old buildings remind us of a tragic forgotten history. The Trans Hijaz railways was a fascinating project of the Ottoman Turks in the last days of the Khilafat.
