I think you lack basic knowledge in Islam ...You never convert to Islam but only Revert to it. In Islam it is not allowed to convert to anything else because it is the Truth.
If someone doesn't believe in this then they dont have to but that is the fact.
We dont have anything to learn from India where all the religious minorities are in persecution starting from their lower caste dalits, shudra's and other scheduled castes all the way to Sikh seperatist movement and burning of christian missionary churches and not to mention Kashmir which is again a religious movement of Ideology.
And the biggest fact of all - Pakistanis ruled India for a 1000 years and still India is a Hindu Majority. If we wanted we had the most powerfull army, all state resources, help from the Islamic World to convert every known person of another Religion to Islam but today the world can see the reality with their own eyes.
In this regards India is ages away from Pakistan.
Yes we have some rules...you desecrate our elders in Islam or you badmouth any tenets of our faith as a person of another faith then that is punishable by the law of our land because we consider it Treason. This is exactly akin to what happens to holocaust deniers or treason against the state.
You respect the law then we respect you. Its as simple as that :)
