Nationalism is important in the modern world.

you are limited to Pakistani nationalism or beyond that which is current tassubism which is chasing Pakistan as a big monster.
Just give benefits of nationalism,may people of Pakistan get benfitted ,last night 18 innocent poor Dhobi,s from punjab killed by same who believe Linguistic and ethnicity is important.What was their jurm ke punjabi ghar mein allah ne paida kiya uss ke bad woh tu irrespective har eik ka **** saaf kar rahe the Masoom.

I support Nationalism similar to what you see in Iran, Turkey, USA, UAE...
Where there is standardization, everyone goes to the same school system, everywhere in village and in the biggest cities there is same standard of roads and infrastructure, police system, development, so it doesn't feel like your traveling to a different country when you move from Panjgur to Lahore. Only a fix percentage is taken from each province and spent on standardization. It is very complicated and we are very far from it.

I watched IKs 2nd part of Talats last Interview, in which he hinted that in future we can have a Pakistan with no borders with Afghanistan and other central Asian states, which will be similar to USA, if you go to USA you will see similar standards of roads and police in each state whether rich or poor, but very small differences because of laws. For this first we will have to unite our 4 provinces it will take alot of Nation building but it doesn't take much time. Next time you go to UAE, visit Fujairah, ras al khaimah, umm ul quwain, Abu dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman... All 7 emirates have very good roads, there are no electricity poles as the electricity lines are underground inside cities, but if you are in Al-ain and you look into Braimi (Oman) from the border you can see the difference, the roads, the electricity and telephone polls the buildings etc...

yehi kharaabi hai....Maulana ne bism-e-Allah hi ulti kar di. khair ka paighaam hai magar ooper ek jumla jo nationalism ko beemari qaraar deta hai aur nationalists ko mareez ! Allah k banday, takabbur aur tamaskhur k oonchay singhasan se aap khair ka paighaam kis andaaz mein pesh kartay hu. Rasul-Allah S.A.W is tarah mareezun ko theek kartay thay ? Assalmualaikum,Masha Allah very nice poem by Allama Iqbal as you mentioned brother.

But see below his another poem's "wataniyat" (nationalism) verses, they are as follow:

Meaning:
Country, is the biggest among these new gods!
What is its shirt is the shroud of Deen (Religion)


Another one from the same poem which you can find in his selection called "bang e dara"

Meaning:
God’s creation is unjustly divided among nations by it
The Islamic concept of nationality is uprooted by it

Hope you got the message which Iqbal was trying to give to the wider ummah plus he was a stanuch supporter of ~Khilafat movement started by Maulana Mohammed Ali jouhar. God bless bro...

Islam is about principles not minority or majority. What proves to be islam is islam and what proves to be kufar is kufar. However shooraa has a role not in deciding values of islam because that is already told in the quran but to see what should be the law about something and how it should be applied.

For example, islam is defined by the quran as to what it is ie it is a way of life that ensures peaceful and prosperous existence for humanity. The quran also clearly states terms and condition that can ensure such a way of life can work. All people need to decide is who should be the office bearer in the islamic administration and executive members for legislations. Laws brought in must be based upon stated terms and condition for the set out goal of islam. The admin is also responsible for ensuring proper application of legislated laws and their enforcement.

Any other definition of islam is anti quran. Islam is not personality based but constitution based system. It is not khalifah who is important but the constitution and law. All individuals and institution must abide by constitution and its laws. This is real quranic islamic rule.

The idea that sunnies or shias are right because they follow sahaba or ahlul bait is not the criterion. Even the person of the prophet is not the criterion for islam, it is quran alone. The order for support of the prophet is only given because he is given the mission to carry out so anyone who accepts this mission must support it for his own good.

A lot of stuff found in islamic history book is not 100% auhtentic because it was written for later rulers who modified real stories to make them useful for themselves.

Muslims must accept the quran alone as foundation of islam, the hadis and rest of books are ok for information about past but they are not deen in themselves. Constitution of islam is quran alone not hadis. It is because Allah alone is God worthy of rulership not the prophet. hadis however tells us how constitution was acted upon by the prophet and people of his time as the administrators of the constitution and as the members of the public.

Accepting hadith as part of divine constitution is same as accepting another God with God. It is like giving the prophet the status of a ruler along with Allah, which is shirk. Prophet is only an agent of God not God himself or equal to him. He has no right of rule over people but he can advise people how to abide by divine constitution. This is why anyone could question anyone in his behaviour with respect to constitution and laws.

This needs proper understanding by people that islam is a deen not a mazab. If we read the quran this way, we will save ourselves from a lot of problems which divide people on basis of their mazaahib. Sects are actually cults because people follow certain personalities rather than the constitution and its laws.

hadis and history of islam is important only because it tells us how prophet and his followers implemented divine constitution and legislated laws that were needed in their time so that we too could follow their example that way. Hadis has nothing at all to do with copying behaviour of the prophet in general but only in relation to his mission.

mullahs have mislead ummah and are still misleading it by their nonsense, telling people all sorts of useless things to do turning ummat into a totally useless people and a laughing stock for the world.

There is none who could explain quran out side this context. Each time anyone will try to explain quran in mazhabi sense there will arise many contradictions that cannot be justified no matter what.

People should start using their own brains so that they are not made fools of by clueless mullahs.
