ALL MY CHILDHOOD I BELIEVED EXACLTY THE SAME LINES ADOPTED BY UMMAT NEWSPAPER. THEN I MOVED TO USA AND BECAME FRIENDS WITH SOME BANGLADESHI GUYS. EVERYTHING SHATTERED. I STARTED LOOKING THIS ISSUE AS AN INDEPENDENT PERSON. I CAN CONCLUDE BY SAYING THAT I WAS ASHAMED OF BEING A PAKISTANI.

I would just say...
The strength of a chain is determined by it s weakest link....
In our chain.. unfortunately we did not strengthen our weakest link.... which was east Pakistan...
We thought of Bengalis as our servants... and the Indians made the most of it....
All those things happened...
But we never learn from our mistakes....
Yesterday Bengalis were traitors, today we dont have any shame in declaring others traitors....
Instead of dealing with the issues on the ground... we take the road of emotional rhetoric... .. unfortunately....
Why do we want to repeat same mistake again and again...

I appealed to you earlier madam to study and research about the '71 war from an neutral and authentic source without any bias and you will know what Mr. choudry is talking about. And I bet as a woman you will be in tears.

Whether it is ordinary Public from Pakistan today or Muslims Bangalis, both were kept in the dark. enemy out foxed us all,Alas and our leaders did the same.
People must save Pakistan today from Indians to launch attack from Afghanistan and our Government must come clean over the war on terror co operation with USA.
It is costing us dearly.
This time we have no where to go,its do or die time and so will the bloody traitors will die too.

I was not even born in 1971 so i really cannot comment on that.the problem was between two sates of pakistan (east and west).Why do you think that there were 80,000 hindus trained and dressed up as Pakistan army? what kind of prof you have?
Did you ever think why Bangladesh wanted independence?
Regardless India, china,USA,Russia or what ever the country inter fears , at the end of the day it was your province and you should resolve the issue instead of blaming other country(s).hope got the point.
