This is totally nonsense, because my wife used to work for SKMH as a resident physician before coming to US, after comparing the standards of treatment in SKMH and US, SKMH is doing great job, the mode and way of treatment is great, so the person who started this thread should be shameful that poor people of pakistan are getting better treatment at SKMH and these Noras are trying to involve this noble service into politics, everybody knows that Nora family has looted the money from poor people and now they have to be answerable for that INSHAALLAH, IF IK THINKS TO MAKE 10 MORE INSTITUTIONS LIKE SKMH, I AM SURE PEOPLE WILL AGAIN GIVE HIM DOUBLE OR TRIPPLE MONEY BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THIER MONEY IS BEING SPENT ON THEM NOT LIKE NORAS WHO ARE SPENDING MONEY LOOTED FROM POOR AND USING FOR THEMSELVES.

The post is really in very poor taste. I pity the mentality which has to stoop to this level for making a political argument. As for the actual comparison, there is none. One patient of cancer requires millions of rupees to be treated. The hospital has a huge deficit budget because of this. If you do want to make a comparison please bring forward the following;

• Audited financials of Sharif Medical City
• How much is spent on subsidised/free treatments?
• What is the source of funding? For all we know it may be self sustaining or even have a surplus from revenues generated
• Your comparison suggests that patients are getting treated free without any zakat and donation. I think what you are trying to imply is that this is happening from the pockets of the Sharifs. Please show evidence to this effect and also compare it to the income they have disclosed in their tax returns

You should try to refrain from defaming an organisation such as Shaukat Khanum. Please think about it. What are you doing it for? Does supporting a political party (or opposing one) justify such defamation. I would also request you to visit Shaukat Khanum and talk to some of the patients there with a clean heart. You will get all your answers i assure you.
