Shame on PTI - Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit project likely to miss March 23 deadline too

The problem is that most of us Pakistanis have taken positons in favour of one or the other part and nobody is looking at anything constructively to get an opinion from. Firstly it was a bonker by Pervaiz Khatak to claim they would finish the project in six months. Projects like that take years to complete. Secondly, if you read a full report, the delay is due to reasons beyond control of the construction company. The Wapda and railway need to clear the way for the construction. However due to slow processes and lack of automation, these two departments are failing miserably to complete tasks on time. Let’s be fair to each other, we are all Pakistanis and I am sure most people here want Pakistan a prosperous country.

Problem is that this was their first project... So they did not estimate the time correctly... Secondly apney previous CM KPK ki susttttti ya na-ehli bhi haaaaiiii.... Current CM KPK is not responsible for this...

Big projects are rarely completed on time due to various complexities.In London the cross rail project has been delayed for a year.UK has very good project managers and engineers but this project is very complex.The project should be done properly,it doesn't matter if it is a little late.

The only difference is that they don't try to gain political mileage by announcing dates just to win votes.

Second even when their plans don't go according to plan, they have reasonable alternatives to minimize the inconvenience to people. Not the case here.

No, the contractor for this contract is MAKSONS, Shehbaz Sharif is under NAB custody on complaint of this contractor. FWO is constructing Swat expressway and Sialkot Motorway. Both started at the same time both are delayed as usual.
