FC =/= Army. Please do your homework

Even more damning evidence of their raw power that an institution that comes under Civilian Leadership but is headed by an Army General is refusing to follow the Civilian Command!!!

BTW: The whole army also supposed to be under the Civilian Leadership, but who will tell this truth to the Boots.

FC NWFP stationed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), and includes the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and FC Balochistan stationed in Balochistan province. Each subdivision is headed by a seconded inspector general, who is a Pakistan Army officer of at least major-general rank, although the force itself is under the jurisdiction of the Interior Ministry.

Wikipedia and Google don't make one an expert at everything. The Maj Gen is seconded. You forgot to highlight that.

And FYI, it is headed by the interior minister. DG/IG is an operational head.
if civilians want supremacy, what's stopping them from building viable institutions of their own? Why do they rush to the army for every flood, earthquake, medical emergency, etc?

Sorry but in this skewed relationship, you cannot blame army for having
Been the masters. You have to blame civilians for being the slaves. Time for civilians to act mature and take responsibility for their actions. Civilians are . mostly Jekyll and Hyde.

This kind of reasoning is called rationalization when one cannot defend the original argument.

Anyways, thanks for accepting the obvious that army is above Civilian Supremacy.

If they still wield so much power, then it will be foolhardy to believe that they stopped meddling in politics as strong civilians will result in curtailment of their unbridled power and no one wants to give up their power that easily.

I was talking about the past eras, which is something everyone has seen. I do not agree that there is any backseat driving going on in the current setup. That is your perception.

In my view, just to repeat, if IK is working second fiddle to some generals in the background, I would call him an embarrassment to the millions of voters who voted him to power, instead of playing both sides of the pitch with nifty terminology.

Politics is the name of compromises.

You cannot fight with all the mafias at once, especially the most powerful Boot Wali Gang.

Perfection is the enemy of Good.

Lol... finally you speak the language of PMLN and PPP.
remind me again why people voted for IK then, if according to you, they are still getting a compromised setup?

Compromise on tactics, not on the goals.

It's ok to lose few battles in order to win a war.

Final battle will ultimately be with the Holy Cows, the monster making factory that created Nawaz, Altaf Hussain, and trying hard to prop up future leadership through PSP etc in order to keep their hands in the cookie jar.

They are threatened by a strong and independent leadership, as they don't have the stomach to digest Turkish model in this country.
