Senate Term: 6 Years (Staggered)
Senate Elections: Held every 3 years (for 50% of the Seats)

Note: Compare these numbers from 2015 Senate Elections as those seats are up for grab now. At that time PTI had only 6 Seats.

  • FATA merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through 25th amendment. The amendment reduces the members in Senate from 104 to 96. Current members representing FATA will continue to serve till 2024. After 2024, FATA will have no separate Senators.
  • Four seats for non-Muslims increased through the Constitution (Eighteenth Amendment) Act, 2010 (Act No. X of 2010).

ICT (Islamabad Capital Territory):
Gained of One and the other will be challenged.
Although, little chance of winning as they their Personal Umpires.

wait til senate elections final result announced by patwari ECP

An umpire could only do so much rigging...

Punjab is a done deal.
PTI got 1 out of 2 in ICT.
KP is almost a forgone conclusion.

Sindh and Balochistan will be up in the air,.
