Storm over German sale of 200 battle tanks to Saudi Arabia. Pakistan is a 3rd world country and Saudi's would prefer to buy from Germany rather than Pakistan.

Pakistani tanks can not match to US tanks. Pakistan needs to sell their military items to devolping nations like in Africa etc. Saudi jas too much money and they can definetly afford expensive tanks frkm anywhere in the world.

hahaha.......If Pakistan wants, Pakistan can surely disturb the entire game by starting Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline & involving China in that but Pakistan's Govt is pet of USA so it won't be able to do anything.

Regarding Aal Saud they are the horn of Satin & you will see their doom very soon.

China was asked to invest in gas project but all chineese banks were afraid of US ban. China banks and private investors will not never risk their business with US just to make Pakistan happy.

You can give this advice to India as everyone know how low standard their equipment is,Pakistan will find other buyers.

China was asked to invest in gas project but all chineese banks were afraid of US ban. China banks and private investors will not never risk their business with US just to make Pakistan happy.

It's about Financial Feasibility not related to US or any other country.

The thing is pakistan situation is very fluid and gas pipeline will cross the area of balochistan with current law and order situation no bank would like its funds to stuck up.

we have to get hold of things and decide for long term. Short term gains of individuals should not come between the goals of state.

This is may be off-topic, however we need to address these to dig ourselves out the hole.

Media is playing a big role in shaping our society and we need to introduce measure to control it.

Pakistani government have suppressed Islamic values and introduced western/Hindu/Indian/Bollywood culture in our society which caused a major problem for us. Because our cultures/values are getting influenced by foreign culture (western/Hindu/Indian/Bollywood) which is promoting vulgarity and unIslamic activities. These bold themes are badly affecting the ethics and are creating negative influence on the naive audience especially youngsters. These are attacking the spiritual roots of Pakistani youth. In addition, they are showing Indian dramas, that is further damaging our identity. Constantly promoting Western & Indian culture, showing fashion shows full of vulgarity is destroying our culture. As a result, we can see the increase in number of crimes against Women including rape.

I blame Musharraf for not setting rules for Media. There is no ratting system in Pakistan. We are NOT Turkey....[Turkey literacy rate, youth female (% of females ages 15-24) in Turkey was 96.57 as of 2009. Its highest value over the past 34 years was 96.57 in 2009, while its lowest value was 68.25 in 1975. I don't trust wikipedia, Pakistan literacy rate (50%) is quit low compare to Turkey. There are hardly any schools in Interior Sindh and Balochistan.] Our illiterate people don' t know anything.

1) We need to educate the masses. Media can play a big role in this. We have millions of unSkilled workers who are going to Middleast countries for labor work.
2) Introduce rating system for all channels.
3) Control vulgarity and unIslamic activities on the TV programs.
4) Introduce Islam to the Youth (special program for the Youth by Youth), NOT by Jaali Dr Aamir Liaqat Husain
5) Corrupt/Anti-Pakistani Media anchors and channels should be prosecuted.
