u aint alone for these reasons to quit indo crap.. my reasons were exactly the same.. with an addition that our nation has started adopting watever crap they see in those films..

true...now we feel its ok to do something which isnt allowed beucase we see it on tv and it looks normal..

can i as you one thing? when you look deep into your heart after putting aside the fact that you love these songs, is there not even a 0.001% of you that believes it might be considered blasphemy? I used to love listening to these songs, and I didn't want to quit them after I realized it might be considered blasphemy but I quit because Allah can forgive every sin except blasphemy and it wasnt worth taking the risk at all...If you still believe that you are 100% right, then I pray that you are right that these songs are not blasphemous because I dont want to see any of my sisters and brothers in trouble on the day of judgment over some songs. i cant make anyone believe anything of course...your belief comes from your heart..I just wanted to point it out because it has never crossed the mind of most people and considering it for a few moments might not wasteful...

I can understand ur concern and i m very grateful for ur sincere suggestion. However, i dont agree with ur views (though i respect ur opinion and hold no objection whatsoever). I also pray for us both that may He(SWT) guide us to the right path, Aameen.

yup, lollywood isnt something to be proud of either..but it was very reasonable when I was a kid...i find that as amount of indian media shown in our country increased, so did the cheapness of lollywood...i wouldnt say bollywood is the only reason to blame for lollywood's current situation, but it is a huge part though...people like cheap masala..if lollywood wanted to compete with bollywood, it had to show same cheapness...

and now dont say i am blaming indian media for no reason...you look at what customers wanted...customers got used to cheap stuff from indian media, so lollywood went downhill to protray the same kind of cheapness as well..

Word " Chinta" is a Sanskrit word.Urdu language contains more words of Sanskrit than "Farsi and Arabic" but you are so used to those words that you don't question.

" Sindhi" Language is loaded with Sanskrit. I would strongly suggest that you start motion to have Arabic language to be the only language of Pakistan. Most of the people in Pakistan learn some leval of Arabi anyway. Why not adopt, it will be your savior within a few years Indian movies and Music will go away except half the population will watch with subtitals, still it will be a major accomplishment.

The modern Urdu as used in pakistan has upto 40 % words that are one or the other way derived from arabic words, I am able to get an idea of the topic of conversation between my arab friends just recognising the words because a lot of them are used by us in urdu/punjabi in pakistan. And the amount of the arabic words being inducted in urdu is increasing on yearly basis as persian is no more a popular language in pakistan like it was 50 years ago and there is virtually no existence of sanskrit at academic levels whatsoever.

darling, let me break it to you. despite of the best efforts of you and some other patriots here indian culture is gonno rule over you and there is no escape. jis country me taaqat hoti hai aur salahiyat hoti hai, usi ka culture rule karta hai. indian middle class's power in the world has gone up several fold and there is no escape. here in the midwest even the somali cab drivers ask me if i watched the latest shah rukh khan flick. similarly in the west american culture rules over all, from US to canada to Uk to australia to whole world. who doesnt know michael jackson or mickey mouse?

i say that with no pride as i hate the indian middle class more than anything, but bhago jahan bhagna hai, they will hunt you down. when kajol is advertising Knorr soup for you, despite that you have tons of better looking women then her, you really are waging a war u are gonno lose.

no i dont think so..you are absolutely right that people have gotten very used to seeing indian tv/movies...but there are a lot of people who do not see them either...its not impossible...

the only possible way to move people away from Indian cinema is to make your own Film industry not that Lollywood rubbish. But make professional studio like the rest of the world and start making films other than musical love stories with real story not something copied or ripped from other films and then start promoting them but you will need a lot of $$$$ for it and that is where the problem comes in.
