The parliament at this stage is total rubber stamp. No doubt about it. Most of the parliamentarians should not even qualify for a clerk job if it was done on merit. Lot of bad people are in the parliament. Every thing agreed upon. No 2 thoughts about it.
Doea that change what the parliament is suppose to do? What powers it has which they never excersize? Come on guys we are literates and we should know the things in countries become better with time. If this democracy would have kept intact after 3-4 elections better people will come forward. You can see good people in parliament. There would be more in coming elections. No country can get better in 1 day. The only way to get better is to keep ourself under the constitution and give it time. Look at how our judiciary was, and look how it got better. Look at how our media got better after years of struggle. This is what exactly will happen with the parliament and the politicians.
Who ever will not understand the pulse of people will eventualy be out of politics. So dont mix things. Do not confuse things. And do not think of an over night change. The nations grow with time and insha allah we will also grow and so will our parliament.
