please reflect and ponder, and comment:

Whats wrong with your smile?
It is upside down, your face looks pale.
Do you feel lonely as if youre the only one alive?
Or maybe you feel that youre the only one dead.

A day is dragged through time as you live your mundane life,
You count the seconds to your final breath.
But you dont know when youll go,
So you decide to count the time youve spent alive.

Eight years, thirteen years, seventeen years,
Dreading every moment the air enters your lungs.
Life in standby as everything else around moves freely,
Trapped in your cage even though you have the key to set you free.

Looking in the mirror you see no reflection,
Inside is empty, hollow, theres nothing in there.
You try to feel something, but it is extinguished,
Like water on a flame, it no longer exists.

Shards of glass is what remains of your mirror,
Shattered by the cruelty youve faced, and the sadness that has consumed you.
Hope lost? You cannot say for sure,
Still trying to unravel what has occurred in your life.

Metal wrapped around your finger,
Reminds you of the promise you made.
Given to you by a loved one,
That you hold close to your soul, close to your heart.

Some peace comes to you when you remind yourself of it,
But does it last long as you drift in and out of dreaming?
Something stronger is needed by you,
To once again fill the hollowness inside.

The hole in your heart is nothing but a keyhole,
Leaving it locked, waiting for the right key to open it.
Blinded by sadness you seem to be lost,
But fear not losing it, for it is close to you.

Look on your shelf; do you see the key gleaming?
A key made up of one hundred and fourteen pieces.
Each piece unique in its own special way,
Even though they differ and vary in their size.

Go ahead and hold it in your hands,
Admire its craftsmanship, crafted like no other.
Each piece locking humbly with another,
To form the key that will set you free.

Slowly the grooves enter the keyhole,
A click is heard for every entrance succession.
The final groove meets the final puzzle,
Turn the key and let your happiness unravel
.
