ISLAMABAD: Expressing no confidence in the performance of PPP-led ruling coalition, PML-Q ministers on Tuesday tendered their resignations to partys leadership.
The resignations were submitted to Chaudry Shujaat Hussain at the meeting of PMLQs parliamentary party today.
They were of the view that the government had failed to honor the promises they had made with the public.
There is no justification of remaining in the coalition government while pubic issues are on the rise, they said.
The meeting lasted for three hours.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Riaz Pirzada, Ghaus Bux Mehr, Amir Muqam and Sheikh Waqas Akram reportedly submitted their resignations.
PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat demanded of Prime Minister Gilani to call an all-party conference to discuss the ongoing electricity and gas crises. SAMAA[/TD]
