He said he usually avoid criticising agencies but they were responsible for alliances and sit-in.


Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Ch. Nisar Ali said politicians without a single seat in assembly were staging sit-in on someones prodding.

He said he usually didnt criticise agencies but they were responsible for alliances and sit-in. He demanded the prime minister should direct agencies to work in their legal framework. Politicians who had been levelling serious charges like murder were joining hands on the pretext of reconciliation, he added.

PML-N is accused of holding meetings with generals but ask them was there any meeting held with them? He claimed PML-N never contacted any general or DG ISI to destabilise the government.

He added he never got the answer of his question that he raised about DG ISIs US visit.

He stated that the government always demanded the US to stop drone attacks.


Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that Ch. Nisar should come up with solid proofs against agencies and he should issue statements after taking his party’s leadership into confidence.

Addressing the National Assembly, the prime minister said that the government had people’s support and it was not afraid of any kind of protests and sit-ins. He stated that the government always demanded the US to stop drone attacks.

The PM asked the opposition leader in the National Assembly to provide solid proofs against agencies if he wanted to discuss the issue with the government. He added that US visit of civil and military officials was a routine matter.

The PM denied the reports about Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s contact with COAS Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.
