Prime Minister, Imran Khan is a politically and diplomatically highly astute, mature, and visionary leader of Pakistan and will not take any action regarding the recogniton of the Taliban regime that will jeopardize Pakistan's diplomatic prestige that has been so painfully restored by him since tooking office.

West will be threatening and they are at the moment, but as IK has said and most likely will be doing is to align PK with China. CPEC success lies in stable Afghanistan so if that means Taliban need to be recognised then yes be it so and may be back channels.

Also Afghanistan is a big market for PK to take. China already will be mulling their hands.

Afghanistan will go into a civil war soon
there are still warlords hiding all over and RAW / CIA will do funding for mischief
Pakistan just needs to be smart, prioritize themselves and our own borders and security
there is no need to be brand ambassador for Taliban

Yeah cheez. I'm going to use this from now on, Because this perfectly and concisely sums up what should be our policy and priority instead of being Taliban Fanboys
