Existing mini water filters need a replaceable filter cartage plus a jug to store the filter water. the filtered water is then poured into glass to drink. Usually those filters cartage need to be replaced max three months, existing filter pore size is usually 1 micron ( 0.000001 meter) whereas this invention's filter pore size is 10 nano meter (0.000000010 meter).

The great advantage of this filter is portability, simplicity and ultra accuracy. You can not travel every where with exiting filter jug. Furthermore, this new filter will last for two years as claimed by the inventor.

Note: this filter can only remove the dirt, bacteria and viruses etc., but it can not remove the smell and any other liquid contamination such as sewerage water contamination.

A strand of human hair is about 100 microns wide....
comparatively, A human hair is approximately 80,000- 100,000 nanometers wide....

But it is not well clear.
Your emphasis on fiber size is not the issue, however the size is related to volume and time efficiency. What is the efficiency of this product - that needs be elaborated to make any comparison and to evaluate their achievement ------- OR the target is just to entice the hyper health conscious mothers and obtain an independent patent. No doubt from the business point of view the last two factors are the most important justifying any investment.

There is no doubt that Pakistani Youth has enormous talent and skills as they can do anything which rest of the world thinks impossible. As UET engineer made water filter straw which will provide you pure water. It is a good and innovative product which will provide you clean and pure water. If government provide financial support to these youth by providing them free scholarships then they can perform much better.
