Permanent Ban on Bawa

I read on one comment that Bawa is permanently banned from this site. Is it true that Bawa is banned permanently?

Can site admin confirm this and also give us the reason why a highly respectable and intellectual member is banned?

Is he penalized for speaking against corrupt generals and book polishiae?

I must say the way site admins are behaving, they don't have any right to complain when they get the same medicine from Gov or Agencies.

ایک طرف آپ حکومتی ادارے کے ایک افسر کی جانب سے پی ٹی اے کو فورم بند کرنے کے احکامات کا بتا رہے ہیں اور دوسری طرف باوا کو بین کرکے آپ یہ تاثر دے رہے ہیں کہ فورم کی پابندی کے پیچھے فوج کا ہاتھ ہے جبھی اس کے مخالف کو بین کردیا گیا ہے۔

چند دن کا بین مناسب ہے لیکن مستقل پابندی کسی صورت قابل قبول نہیں۔

@windwalker There is something which is called 'netiquettes' and most defenders of this corrupt govt (who probably are paid handsomely via our tax money by their elite mafia masters) really lack that. Having difference of opinion is different but some of these idiots will start attacking personal lives of not just leaders but also the forum members. Also since they lack the intellect to have a logical discussion based on facts, they will start a flame war through insulting remarks. So since they don't follow the basic forum rules, I totally agree with the Admin. banning those folks first for few days and if they offend again, then ban them permanently. So I agree with Atif that all should be given one chance and if they don't stop ... then ban them for good.

What will be the pretext, that the admins are not fair and balanced?

Its hard to block or remove sites that are not hosted in Pakistan or use .pk domain. They have blocked youtube but people who really want to watch it can get around accessing it. If I am not mistaken most of the traffic for siasat.pk is generated from outside of Pakistan.

Well , that famous saying 'If you live by the sword you die by the sword' justifies government's action. If this forum with full throttle aims to support a political party , it should not masquerade as a neutral forum then. Secondly , the quality of threads and the "news" shared here had fallen very low recently and the sole aim of these helpless expatriate admins was to sensationalize stuff in the favor of PTI. I feel the amount of people using proxies to access banned websites shall be far lower in the case of this forum compared to YT.

All's well that ends well. He was banned by mistake and the mistake is being corrected.

The admins and moderators may have the tilt towards PTI but its still a fairly open forum. Its just the fact that there are a lot more PTI supporters who frequent the site compared to other political parties. I think that there are only couple of active MQM supporters on here, one user single-handedly carries the PPP message and there are couple of active JI supporters. The problem that we see on here is reflective of our attitudes. Since most users assume that the forum is PTI turf the few PMLn supporters are enough to make them lose control. I am all for a good or even heated discourse as long as it is within the limits of decency and abides by the forum rules.

I agree that the quality of the threads have gone down considerably and there is a tendency to sensationalize stuff which by no means meet the criteria of being sensational.
I may be wrong but it seems to be an attempt to make some extra cash by promoting videos on their youtube channels :)

The point is that even if the admins and mods are "masquerading" as neutral it shouldn't be a pretext to ban them and especially by a democratic government.

I just hope that we develop some political tolerance and learn to live with and accept dissenting voices and opinions without losing our cool.
