Pakistani Guy on a bicycle tour from Germany to Pakistan

Came across an interesting facebook page of this Pakistani guy "Kamran Ali" who is, at the moment, on a bike tour from Rostock, Germany to his hometown Layyah, Pakistan.

Kamran is a PhD in Computer Science working in a software firm in Germany. His tour started on June 2, 2011 and right now he has reached Vidin, Bulgaria.

Itinerary goes as follows:
Germany --> Poland --> Czech Republic --> Austria --> Slovakia --> Hungary --> Romania --> Bulgaria --> Turkey --> Iran --> Pakistan

You can also follow him on facebook where he regularly posts videos, pictures and details of his tour as it progresses. Trust me, its more than amazing!

He got media attention in Germany, got featured in local newspapers, a couple of interviews as well. I believe he deserves the attention of Pakistani media and people too.

yes..because of the dangerous situation in Baluchistan, people are suggesting him to abandon his tour in Iran and take a flight from there. It would be pity, that a man after crossing 11 countries on bicycle, can't enter his own :(. But anyways, lets see...coz there is still a lot of time in between!
